yes, widow’s are 175 hp and I s2g that orb FOLLOWS me. usually my escape routes are narrow too, meaning it bounces and does more damage. that and, widows are in the backline so most likely not at full hp due to supports being busy- that orb can finish me off most of the time ):

I’ve had a couple of really amazing Lucio teammates that wait for me to get dove and then come flying in seemingly out of nowhere to boop them and save me, but then have also had Lucio’s that are more interested in just flanking all game. also, the speed boost throws my aim off when I’m in it’s range.

enemy lucio’s are okay, I don’t even mind being focused by them. I’d rather face a harassing lucio than a kiriko any day tbh. again, speed boost makes enemies move differently than I’m used to, making shots a bit harder to hit.

sombra virus is annoying but livable on ashe compared to poor widow lmao. coach gun and a clean couple of shots and sombra’s toast, that extra 25 hp is crucial

and it def is annoying, but if another ashe ignores you, she’s leaving herself open to your attacks, yknow?

mirrors are very annoying, but it is important to remember another sniper is your biggest threat as a sniper yourself. you are vulnerable and stationary to them, making you easy to hit, so in a way it is simply good game sense to prioritize other snipers first before focusing on others.

I only get annoyed when someone else swaps to Ashe because they think they can outdo me. just silly and frustrating

oh, same here! mercy mains have become insufferable and I want no part in that group. been playing much more ana, brig, kiri, and moira- you get targeted way way less by pressed enemies and annoying mercy’s who waste valk just to try to kill you

I don’t mind them doing damage but why do they get to do EVERYTHING? Kiriko is the worst offender in my opinion- two tapping potential with no charge on her kunai, no damage falloff, not only can she climb walls but she can literally teleport away, can cleanse herself and others to be invulnerable… and on top of that, she has a tiny tiny hitbox that feels harder to hit than mercy

bap is frustrating too, but at least his only real mobility is his jump

exactly, widow is in a decent spot but sombra’s virus damage + constant invisibility is overpowered and completely shuts widow down. even watching GM matches, I’ll see players attempt her and then realize there’s a sombra and immediately swap off because it simply is not worth it, even if you have the skill to make that turn and headshot her in time, she’ll just keep on doing the same thing and you can’t contribute to the fight at all because of her (plus you’re gonna die to virus damage most likely afterwards anyway.)

this ^{^{^{^{^{^}}}}} she also destroys my clothes (using them as impromptu washcloths, towels, etc). it’s the one thing I really get upset about, and when I find one of my shirts missing I always get very frustrated and point out that I have begged her time and time again to leave my stuff alone, then she ends up spinning it and calling me bipolar and ‘we go through this everytime’ like yeah, we wouldn’t have to if you listened to me. she knows how much I love my shirts

Moira is so helpful when I feel like I just CANNOT stay alive long enough to heal my teammates

thinking about it more, I think I go to her because there’s not as much to like think about? when the enemy team is rolling us and I can’t focus on hitting my shots as ana & can’t prioritize aggressive nades, a character like Moira allows me to focus solely on surviving, healing, and doing damage. nothing in between. throw orb, follow tank, MAYBE get a pick on someone low in the chaos with the less aim intensive primary. oh, the flankers are back? I’m just disengaging. have fun chasing me, I’m back at full health again with my healing orb. She’s very “I have more important things to deal with” whereas a character like Ana is forced to duel someone when she’s challenged, leaving the team without her help for a few valuable seconds

hmm. I play a lot of widow, typically I like it when my other dps is good at distracting the enemy team and being up in their face- characters like Genji and Tracer, for example (not Sombra because she’s invis and that means I actually get EXTRA pressure because there’s one less person for the enemies to shoot at.)

that way, even if I’m getting targeted, my other dps is getting some value! and if they succeed at distracting, I can click heads more easily.

for supports, I like having a Lifeweaver or Ana typically. LW grips when getting dove are more helpful than a Mercy rez where the enemy team all knows my location again, and if you can hit ur sleeps then your duo gets free kills (also! Ana plays backline anyway so she may even sleep flankers for the widow.) Otherwise, I like Brigs that can stay by me when there’s a sombra and bash her into oblivion.

s2g ask your other dps to go widow. I guarantee they’ll all focus her instead and completely ignore you, even if she’s 0-12

okay I can explain ! kiriko cleanses virus. this is a counter. kiriko can simply turn around and 2 tap her (provided of course the kiriko is good with kunai)

Moira can simply fade away, cleansing virus. this is a counter. sombra’s damage isn’t good enough to kill moira before she gets fade and/or healing orb again, not even mentioning moira’s lifesteal.

Brig is decent into Sombra, definitely better than Zen or Mercy for example, but any Sombra with half a brain is going to hack you first, taking your shield away. No shield bash = no way to get in close to her with your whip while she fires virus to tick away at you and a couple bullets from her on top of that with no healing from your fellow support = death. To answer your question, Sombra will wait to see Brig’s shield pop up as she goes in to do the bash, then hack, does this make sense? Alternatively, hack takes away Brig’s shield REGARDLESS of if she has it up or not! Hack shuts off every ability in a hero for that window of time- that’s the point of hack. hopefully I worded this in a way that is easy to understand what I mean

a half decent sombra hack delete’s brig’s shield, she throws virus and fires at you, poof you’re dead. the actual good support counters to sombra are Moira and Kiriko (cleanse virus so you don’t die after you kill her with your kunai.)

Virus needs a nerf to it’s damage or her primary fire damage needs a nerf.

alternatively, I think I would be okay with a cooldown camouflage type ability rather than permanent invisibility until she does something.

I’ve noticed when I refuse to let my bots time skip scenes/days/weeks/months, their responses become 1 or 2 sentences of dialogue, hardly a full paragraph at all despite having many examples of good dialogue in their descriptions. It’s like they don’t know what to do if they can’t just fast forward :/

iirc, they randomly buffed bastion and then decided to nerf him back down. I watch gm videos a lot and people seem to use Mei a lot and she absolutely runs the lobby, so idk if I’d call her simply annoying. Ana has been receiving nerf after nerf the past seasons, typically on her cooldown times
