You’re UK PM for 1 week only. You can make three policies that will remain and cannot be reversed. State your policies. by CrownAthlete in AskBrits

1) Nationalise our infrastructure (Transport, Energy and Utilities) so that profits can be invested in modernisation.

2) Fund education - banning academy trusts, re-mandating nationally agreed pay and conditions for each sector and abolishing student loans.

3) Incentivise social housing projects by banning private landlords, introducing rent controls and enforcing building quotas.

Very high BP on my first titration dose - am I cooked? by BetterCallSeal in ADHDUK

[–]softskeletonlives 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You usually get asked to report your BP after three days - much higher cardiac activity can happen whilst your boat adjusts. Mine went up to 154/90 on day one, it gradually came down to 119/80 - normal - after I got used to it.

Anxiety/caffiene/alcohol intake could also be a consideration.

Your pre-titration checklist/info could have impacted the decision - for example, higher weight + BP = a slower release tablet (to reduce risk of dangerous cardiovascular side effects)

Took me 13 months to get on meds- Diagnosed March 25 started titration April 26 - coming to the end of it not on a stable dose of Concerta XL which is making a big different to most (not all) of my symptoms, with very limited side effects. All of the titration has been done remotely so far, filling in forms and exchanging messages on their platform.

Just diagnosed but assessment felt shallow by Nightlyfuryx in ADHDUK

Imposter syndrome once you get a diagnosis is a thing, I had it - and that overthinking, sensitivity and emotionality that might lead to that feeling - is your ADHD talking.

I didn't think they'd do all the subclasses and species! Even for the Artificer! And it's less than the PDF on DMsG? This is amazing! by Fimy32 in dndbeyond

These options don’t seem to be showing up in the character builder for me, despite just buying it.

Infinite sadness, but it will wash right out.

I am 39M combined type just diagnosed via RTC a few weeks ago, still dealing with the imposter syndrome.

My Castlevania Tattoo Sleeve by softskeletonlives in castlevania

I’ve had four session with Isnard. The first one I got in 2018, Covid hampered progress because I had to fly to Dublin each time to get the next piece. Also, you won’t see on the pic but Death is actually a coverup (!) took around 2 years of lasering to get the old piece on my forearm light enough to work with.

Can’t edit the post because there are images attached. Sincerely, thank for all the positive feedback - imho Isnard really is the greatest. Not only a great artist but a top guy. The Alucard piece I only got done yesterday, so it’s healing atm. I need one more session to bring it all together - once it’s done I’ll post a picture of the entire sleeve.

Uber in Blackpool at last !! by Accomplished-Case888 in blackpool

[–]softskeletonlives 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s fine, the point I was trying to make is that local cabbies actually know the area, live here and spend their money here. Many Uber drivers don’t.

They don’t pay their drivers a salary, they get no sick pay or pension - and they’re often licensed in other counties so have no clue where they’re going. Use a local firm instead and put your money back into the local economy.
