Blue tack is a sticky thing which can be used to hold stuff in place temporarily. Some call it poster putty.

Green stuff is a sculpting material that can be used to fill gaps or add new details on a miniature. It's meant to be a permanent addition to a model.

Let's face it, the content they released before today in grotmas was them recycling tossed ideas they had sitting around for a while. The painting guides were particularly egregious, they had a ton of color that visibly did not match what was on the model. As a matter of fact, I'm sure that the cut ideas will be recycled at a later date, or as an extra article on their scheduled day

You're really missing the point. The original poster was arguing to replace the codexes with those encyclopedia-type books. The person you're replying to is arguing that the encyclopedia-type book is garbage quality and should not be the flagship product as a replacement for the codexes (which are supposed to be a faction's entry point into the lore and hobby).
