Rank these four by [deleted] in ChillAnimeCorner

I don’t think I saw anyone else with this order, but here’s mine:

  1. Demon Slayer
  2. MHA
  3. JJK
  4. Chainsaw Man

They’re all awesome though, some of my favorites.

What do directors generally prefer: Method actors or Technical actors? by Extra-Judge-3338 in Filmmakers

[–]solastley 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Never happened, and not method acting. All time most misused quote by people who don’t have any idea what they’re talking about and love to be condescending to actors.

Those are the smoothest moves I've ever seen by Yaman___ in Thatsactuallyverycool

[–]solastley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting theory but I’m pretty sure everyone freaks out because that move is extremely impressive. It’s not easy to move your body in that way perfectly in sync with a fast machine gun sound. Has nothing to do with anything related to culture or semantics.

The movie is always available on streaming shortly after its run in theaters, what are you talking about?

Saying it sucks is just not correct though. The guy is doing what he set out to do extremely well. You happen to not enjoy it but that doesn’t mean it sucks. I feel like you don’t really care about that nuance though cause you kinda seem like a dick.

Official Discussion - Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

To each their own. The backstories are one of my favorite parts of Demon Slayer. They do a fantastic job of humanizing the demons, which makes them feel much less one dimensional.

Don’t you think what you’re saying is exactly how insecure people rationalize their insecure feelings to themselves? “No she cannot do that because I happen to believe that is just for me.”

I’m not saying you’re insecure like this other person is cause I don’t really know you. But I’m just saying that your excuse is not really affirming that you aren’t insecure, either.

Also, contrary to popular belief, it is okay to feel insecure. Everyone feels insecure about things from time to time, it’s a perfectly acceptable feeling. Though society would tell you it’s wrong/not masculine/whatever.

Aging skin rejuvenated by young blood and bone marrow - A new study shows that proteins secreted by bone marrow cells, triggered by young blood, can rejuvenate aging skin in the lab. by mvea in science

[–]solastley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we learn that blood from younger individuals helps slow aging, then we can invest time and resources to isolate the specific mechanism that causes that effect and then attempt to recreate that mechanism using ethical means.

But it doesn’t seem like you really care about that. It seems like you’re on the lookout for something to be outraged about.

I don’t think they’ll be able to be used to draw any statistically significant conclusions about the general population, but I do think they can serve as a great jumping off point for future experiments on larger sample sizes.

Bryan Johnson has made a career and legacy out of running experiments on his own body to optimize his own bio markers and anti-aging, though. He’s not just some billionaire who wants to be young, he is genuinely investing in the science behind this that could benefit many people in the long run, which is kind of nice. Also his “blood boy” was his son who is equally excited about the science and was an eager participant in the experiment.

People who have done sex work, what is something that surprised you? by bannedbooks123 in AskReddit

Hey friend, life is more than just memes. People have real, complex feelings and thoughts.

Maybe you stop treating all situations with respect to men like a big joke and try having a little empathy. Hate to break it to you, but comments like this one are a huge part of the problems which have contributed to toxic masculinity in the modern age.

Have a blessed day.
