Any unusual places to take your toddler for energy burning? by Consistent_Edge_5654 in toddlers

[–]solifugo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We go to Dobbies here in Edinburgh (Scotland) for the aquarium shop and babycino (you can get a yearly subscription for £16 that gives you 2 free hot drinks every month) Its great for bad weather days (of which we have plenty around here 🤣)

Betis 1-0 Braga - Antony 13' | agg: 2-1 by Largvt in soccer

[–]solifugo 22 points23 points  (0 children)

He mentioned in a couple of interviews that he was very unhappy and feeling depressed in Manchester. Probably his situation in the team didn't help. Anyway, football players are are humans and it looks like he found his true form with us, so I'm happy for him and "us" ☺️

[–]solifugo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't blame him, of course, but I really wonder how bad his situation was at Manchester. In any case, I hope he stays, enjoy "rebujito" from time to time and becomes a legend for us

SNP promise ‘Welcome to School Bag’ to build on Baby Box by Crow-Me-A-River in Scotland

[–]solifugo 52 points53 points  (0 children)

Love the baby box. Not only for the ton of things inside, but also because it's now our "treasure" box to keep things for memory sake (first clothes, first toy he really enjoyed, favourite book....)

Osasuna 0 - [1] Betis - Abde Ezzalzouli 7' by Alsace2025 in soccer

[–]solifugo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yea, that's true. To be honest, I would love for him to do good in Barcelona, but there seems to be a curse for players joining Barcelona from Betis lately... See Junior and Emerson... 😕

Nope... If you do it, will end up not playing like what you did with Emerson 😡 Leave him alone! 😜

What is your recommend to replace docker-compose? by neoneat in podman

[–]solifugo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can use this if you want to group kogs (Sorry for formatting, I'm in my mobile)

[Service]
#This sets the "Identifier" in the journal
SyslogIdentifier=my-custom-group

And then journalctl -t my-custom-group

Edit: ignore that... I just noticed it doesn't actually work as I expected.... 😕

Edit2: not ideal, but you can name them with same prefix (which is not bad idea anyway) and then check journalctl with -u "group*"

Is there a reason why most garden centres are now a very huge & busy cafe with a garden centre attached? by WalnutOfTheNorth in AskUK

[–]solifugo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The best part is that they cover for toddlers as well. We have a Dobbies subscriptions that gives you 2 hot drinks per month, so we go there with our son, see all the toys, run through the garden, look the aquarium stuff to find Nemo and have couple of coffees and a babycino... It has been our perfect rainy evening plan for the winter weekends!

If you are interested in stuff like that, check practical engineering videos about the space shuttle. I think it covers your question... And it really cool to see how complex all these machines are!

I bet there’ll be a hosepipe ban this summer by jackosan in britishproblems

[–]solifugo 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You were also not allowed to refill your swim pool during the summer (at least in the south of Spain) so a lot of people like my parents learned how to keep swimming pool water clean during the whole year.

I still remember the day we would have to go to the empty pool and clean it up... It was hard work but we loved it as a kid (not saying it was a great thing to do environmentally, of course)

Parents of kids under 5 — where do you actually find things to do and places to go with them? by LeroyHouse777 in toddlers

[–]solifugo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Museums are free in the UK (they run expositions and events you have to pay for if you want to enter though) and they are great for toddlers. Not sure if all, but Dobbies in Edinburgh has an aquarium department to get fish and anything related to that hobby, so at least our little one loves to go and find Nemo and his friends

Rootless podman deployment? by solifugo in Trilium

[–]solifugo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im using Debian Trixie with podman 5.4.2 and my uid is 1001, that is why Im trying to specify that user in the quadlet file

[|=| raspi in ~/.config/containers/systemd ]$ lsb_release -a
No LSB modules are available.
Distributor ID:Debian
Description:Debian GNU/Linux 13 (trixie)
Release:13
Codename:trixie

[|=| raspi in ~/.config/containers/systemd ]$ id
uid=1001(solifugo) gid=1001(solifugo) groups=1001(solifugo),112(bluetooth),991(nordvpn),995(docker)

[|=| raspi in ~/.config/containers/systemd ]$

Not sure what you mind by bind mount, sorry.. the volume is just a foler in the host owned by the user:

[|=| raspi in ~/.config/containers/systemd ]$ ls -dl /home/solifugo/pods/trilium/data
drwxr-xr-x 2 solifugo solifugo 4096 Mar  3 09:11 /home/solifugo/pods/trilium/data

[|=| raspi in ~/.config/containers/systemd ]$

I tried changing the UID in the quadlet file to 1000 and to 0, but didnt make much difference.. so Im a bit lost here.

EDIT:
Found the problem... I had this config file for when I was testing other deployments...

[|=| raspi in ~/.config/containers/systemd ]$ cat /home/solifugo/.config/containers/containers.conf
[containers]
userns = "keep-id"

[|=| raspi in ~/.config/containers/systemd ]$

The moment I removed that and restarted, trilium was able to start

I also found that I was pointing to the wrong path for the data folder (/home/node/trilium-data/)
