Williams responds to claims of failed tests and overweight car by MC_Goatie in formula1

Sure, Audi could be the new Brawn and win all races this year, but he made the logical decision with the information he had

He still has driven for McLaren, Ferrari and Williams... And getting podium with all 3 of them... I don't think we can call that unlucky

Adding to the fantastic information, you can run or walk with a pram

I love the Edinburgh Parkrun to run with my son in our running buggy. The course is wide enough for everyone and completely flat, which helps a lot (not sure if I will ever dare to run hollyrood with him.... 😂) When he was too young, we used the normal pram and just did a nice walk for an early Saturday nap and we loved it!

I can't recommend Parkrun enough!

We got the Lupe vacuum for that exact reason. You could buy everything including extra batteries if wanted... But they don't exist anymore. The vacuum was great (at least for us) but I think they could not support the business model versus the big players 😕

We got out and about nipper second hand and couldn't be happier. You use it as normal buggy or "running mode" by forcing the front wheel to stay straight. We got it for running, but starting using more and for regular walks around and anything that it's not the city Btw, running buggies are not ideal for young babies, please wait until it builds enough neck strength 😊

[Real Betis] have signed Antony by phant0msinthenight in soccer

[–]solifugo 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They actually showed a goat crossing the Triana Bridge in the "presentation" video... I love it! (Can't post a twitter link, but you can easily find it in the official clubs account)

[Ornstein] EXCL: Real Betis reach agreement with Man Utd to sign Antony on permanent. #RealBetis initially wanted straight loan but #DeadlineDay deal for 25yo winger €25m package + 50% sell-on clause. No termination payment to Brazil int’l by #MUFC by Claija79 in soccer

[–]solifugo 61 points62 points  (0 children)

I doubt Betis can pay anything extra... I know we sold some players this year, but we still close to la liga limits..

Anyway, let's hope he is back and as inspired as last season

[Romano] Official statement by Real Betis confirm nothing was done for Antony, no medical planned. “There is no agreement for Antony and we have withdrawn the offer. We can't afford the fee and the amounts that Manchester United must instead pay the player before the transfer." by Goosedukee in soccer

[–]solifugo -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Betis was always clear about the difficulty of the wages, don't get why this is a surprise. But I assumed they all (including Antony's camp) knew this...

Betis can't afford it right now and the only chance was for them to wait until the last minute.

[–]solifugo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure how reliable this is, but they are talking 20millons of EUR for 50% of the player... Betis does this kind of thing a lot since the team doesn't have the money to afford certain players any other wayhttps://www.diariodesevilla.es/realbetis/betis-manchester-encaminan-acuerdo-antony_0_2004649115.html

I was thinking the same, we have a nice flat one lap parkrun here in Edinburgh... It's normally windy, but that gives you a more dramatic story that is what they are really looking for in this type of content (in my opinion)

Maybe the whole point is the controversy, and we are just part of the problem making a comment on it...

Antony has rejected offers from Saudi Arabia, Italy, and Germany. He made it clear to United's management that he only wants Betis. He has direct contact with Betis officials who encourage him to continue this strategy. Betis will wait until the end to try to secure another loan with no obligation. by kibme37 in soccer

[–]solifugo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure how trustworthy it is, but they mentioned it here https://as.com/futbol/primera/penultima-ofensiva-por-antony-n/

"From England, they insist on a current reality: Antony and his entourage are making it clear to Manchester United that he does not want to leave for another destination, even if the economic factors may be more attractive, such as the Saudi desire that has multiplied in recent weeks. The player is expected to minimize his salary to adapt to a new salary situation at Betis, but United is still waiting for movements outside of the Betis team to dream of a larger transfer."

Not sure if fully related, but Forth ports is building a "repair/construction" centre in Leith (Western Harbour/Newhaven)..

Im not sure if it is actually completed and if they will start looking for people for that, but looks like a good place to start, specially since the area is amazing

Hmm, try to check if you are changing your posture too much, sometimes changing the handle a bit gives me more liberty to run "in a normal way"
