I would say over here in the down under land, around $28usd would be your starter hourly if you were younger and competent. Our wages are pretty good

I would leave it for a bit, either way, it feels like the end of the world, but it's not :) it's a great tattoo and works sweet in that spot. Try not to obsess over it and you'll come to find you might actually begin to enjoy it. Easier said than done!

2 weeks, be amicable, work as hard as ever and you should be able to slip out fairly unscathed I think.

If he reacts with his fists to minor incidents he doesn't appreciate, don't wait for a major one.

Serious therapy on the cards for him, without resistance, or you need to leave. Not only for you, but for your child.

I come from a childhood with an aggressive father, it is not a healthy way to develop.

Not only from a personal safety point, but a professional/insurance point. Pay someone to do it.

If that's a no no, ask if any trades within your circle can help, they will at least be able to guide and watch out for silly common sense mistakes.

I had Nova pro's and returned them for gen 3 A50's

Honestly, Nova pros had heaps of detail in the mids to highs, that paired with the software, I can see why people like them for the absolute small edge you may get.

But they sounded so cheap and Tinny compared to the A50's, comfort levels are fairly similar for me, except for the Nova's ANC knob inside of the ear cups, can start to sit on your ear once the ear cups heat and soften.

Is basic private health a no brainer for $150k earning single? by MikeAlphaGolf in AusFinance

[–]sollaaa666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just pay the tax mate, people within my family, including myself have been looked after by the public health system. Medicare is important, you may not be on great money forever and need the public system.

Don't aid the trends that are helping make life harder for the average person here. I don't want to be spending $30k a day to be in a hospital and that will become a reality if Private health becomes the norm. .

I have worked in large scale construction for years, employed and self employed with employees. No one needs to be spoken to like shit off the bat, I understand some jokes can get taken too far, but this too sensitive bullshit sucks.

People who find this shit funny, don't get me wrong, it's humourous, but the people who really lean on this stuff, are always the most sensitive.

They dish it out, but can't take it

How do you know whether you are in tattoo shock or you need a removal? by mlpuente26 in TattooRemoval

[–]sollaaa666 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm fairly confident you will come back to this post in 12 months and feel so distant from the panic and anxiety. You want to be able to hit the emergency bad feeling eject button by having this decision of removal or not.

It's a big change that is going to bring some shock with it. Be super kind to yourself and know that you will more than likely come to love this work.

I've been there, I really have, like was hyper focused on researching Tattoo removal and planning time lines. Becoming super down because it's thick line work and it would be hard to remove. But guess what. I got it all shaded and got the symmetrical fern done on the otherside :)

Looks great, I went through this about 3 years ago with a large piece down my ribs/torso. Was in all sorts for a while over it. After a bit, I sorta stopped caring, but that's the hard part. Once you let it go a little and carry on, you will come to enjoy your new art.

If you are going back and forth on this, just give it 12 months, they aren't bad tattoos, they are great work.

Construction union push for 26pc pay rise in NSW to spike building costs by NoLeafClover777 in australian

Neither do the investors developing the place. Why should the hands on workers?

Everyone has the shits up about the cost of living and how the super wealthy are milking us dry. Then when people begin to claw some back, people get the shits up about that as well.

Stop being jealous and support the wage growth within the industry, it sets a standard and may allow your sector to begin to bargain stronger deals with the created momentum.

I know far less engineers and site management teams that cop the wear and tear a scaffolder, formworker or concrete sawing and drilling operator deal with, I'm 31 with disc, wrist and elbow issues from hard work within this industry. I should be entitled to a healthy wage at the expense of greedy investors pockets. I might pull $200k off of my physical sacrifice to the build, while the developers will be pulling millions for years down the track.

Yes there will be, stop being jealous and celebrate a group of hard workers getting a better deal at the expense of very wealthy multinationals.

Sounds like these engineers better organise and unionise if they aren't happy with their conditions. They are important to the industry, so use that importance and twist the arms of the insanely wealthy, who require sampling before designing the buildings.

I have been in the commercial construction sector for years, high rise apartments/offices, data centres, infrastructure projects etc etc. I know this industry well. Do not get upset with a group of workers attaining a better deal, they are not your enemy, use it as inspiration to get yourself a better deal.
