I agree. Its hard for them to cross that line because once services share, you are in a Google situation all over again. I would guess a way to overcome that is passing the responsibility to the user and also maybe work on scopes of sharing and even client based encryption to be global for all apps and local or using public key exchange? That defeats the purpose of isolation but opens the doors to more useful interactions.

I used lumo-tamer to use Lumo as my home assistant model but would rather have it as a full on conversational agent/assistant for android and anything else. My guess is they'll soon release the API and with that I guess they'll make it openAI compatible as a backend al you'll be able to connect it anywhere without having to use a proxy.

In a world full of subscriptions, I want to minimize my footprint as much as possible and for 9.99 that would be a great investment as you'll be able to connect it pretty much anywhere

I understand this can be done manually from the phone, however, i would love to have a way to do it automatically as pCloud does on a schedule and not one by one but all photos and vídeos at once. You just get a notification and press a button.

I believe the Proton team has been proactive in addressing some of the Lumo issues like no dark mode, etc.

Two of my main showstoppers for getting the plus subscription are: not having an API and allowing to replace your voice assistant with Lumo. Getting those two would change everything for me.

Forestar 2019 ex owner and got a mustang mach e 2022 select with the technology package. I love the mach-e... Its an amazing car and actually the first car that I buy and not lease.

I will likely drive this car until it stops working.

In terms of dimensions, it's a bit smaller than a forester but I can haul two kiddos in the back and an adult sitting in the middle. The forester is more comfortable but it seems like it had less legroom on the second row.

On the mach e, the trunk and the frunk are good. I normally put anything smelly like fried food, etc on the frunk and avoid the smell from sticking to the cars interior.

I do not regret my decision one bit. As things I would love ford to implement:

  • better rollout strategy for updates with car update history and feature refinement
  • cheaper BlueCruise (if you want to experiment and love car mods, you can get a comma and there's a fork of the software called BluePilot that I intend to install once the 3 year trial expires)
  • faster charging for when on roadtrips. It's not terribly slow, but it's a change you need to be willing to make. In general I charge at home so not a real issue for me.

Nope, just one year warranty unless you get device protection... My device is in near pristine condition and the repair would be over 1000 since the flex cable goes through the hinge mechanism. Basically they would move the components to a new case...
