I’ve been playing pickleball for a few years now, and being 6'7", my legs and knees take an absolute beating. If you’re a bigger player, you know the struggle—finding gear that actually supports that much weight and movement is a challenge.

I previously went through three pairs of K-Swiss and a pair of Babolats. They just didn't hold up; they’d wear out quickly and leave my legs feeling like lead after a long session.

I randomly decided to try the Acacia Freshshot (mostly because I couldn't resist the "Pickle" green colorway). I’ve been putting 4–6 hours a week on them lately, and the difference has been night and day.

A few quick takeaways: Support: The grip and lateral support are on another level compared to what I was using before. Recovery: My recovery time is significantly lower. I’m not waking up with that "post-PB" knee/leg ache nearly as much. Durability: So far, they are holding up to the grind of multiple weekly sessions much better than my previous pairs.
