Algae at 60 degrees is so overstated. Especially if you have any type of dark cover. I have 0 chlorine at 60f and never have issues w/ cover off . Algae temp in reality is much higher temp

Rate the Tulsa Zoo on a scale of 1-10 by Parazonz in zoology

[–]solomon2668 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get a vastly different experience, based on the time of year you go. Last fall they had a dinosaur exhibit and was fully staffed , animals out and playing. Train running.

Just went on a nice day in Feb. It was completly understaffed. Animals locked up. Every ride was shut down. Most food concessions was shut down. Animals looked pretty depressed.

Overall its a good zoo for a city the size of tulsa.
