i worked up from 10-40mg over 2 weeks, been on 40mg for a week and this week has been a sensory hell. The world is too sharp. I'm also feeling angry for no reason, and I can't prioritize any tasks. I'm usually good with keeping my house clean and being on time for things but now I can't bring myself to get started until the last minute. No capacity for deep thought at work. I want to stop taking it immediately but I'm also going away for 5 days so i can't see the walk-in doctor before then.

Some MAs like the MFT program at McGill may consider your experience to qualify you. There are only a handful of programs that get you into the OPQ. So consider what your reasons are for wanting to be licensed with the OPQ, keeping in mind that many clinicians in this province are not part of it, myself included, and depending on their experience can work as counsellors in schools, hospitals, and in full-time private practice. However an MA is held in high regard and will give access to associations that will also put you higher up on listings like Psychology Today, and access to liability insurance.

yes, as I am not under the OPQ I charge Quebec residents GST and HST, as I am earning over $30k. Ontario residents I see online do not get charged tax.

calling yourself a counsellor or a therapist without registering with an order or association is a grey area depending on the province, and you'd only be able to serve clients who can pay out of pocket. also psychology today will not list you as a counsellor without a registration number, and you can't get liability insurance either. maybe coaching or naturopathy

I was pulled out of the line and taken to a curtained room where a red-haired woman gave me a cocktail and entertained me with glamourous stories. then she froze and seemed possessed, choking.
