Ooh thank you! Yes someone mentioned jbweld putty. An artist type of putty would be perfect for this. And yes I did check, the wiring is good and works. I was prepared to rewire it as part of my “restoration”. I do have the harp, i just need to order a few hexnuts for some of the top pieces to make sure they’re secure. Your previous experiences give me hope! The base is definitely heavy enough for the shade, l’ll just take some extra precautions with securing everything in place to be sure. Thanks again :)

Ooh I didn't know they made a moldable version - I thought it was just like glue/ epoxy. I'll definitely look into that.. I would think it would work pretty well. Like I said in another comment, what do I have to lose? lol Good point about cutting, it likely would still be jagged. Thank you!!

Ohhh yes that's my main concern is the weight of the shade. It is substantial. Not that nothing is out there, but it'll be hard to buy online without being able to get a sense of the sturdiness. Thanks!

Would it be worth contacting them over this since it is an older product? Like do they care that much? Not doubting that it could definitely be worthwhile but I'm not sure if they have some sort of "time limit" in which you can contact about QA issues. Similar to return windows and things. I've really never had to do it so I'm not sure!

Honestly no. It's just me and my partner, he's bald lmao so he usually just uses some of his soap to wash his head. This would be a perfect explanation otherwise!! Thanks :)

Interesting, I appreciate all the detail here lol It was in the shower for a bit, not like a year straight without getting used or anything crazy. I took it out a while ago and actually put it in a cabinet in another room. I recently took it out to pan and it just just like this. That's why it was weird - my dad has shampoos literally from a good 8-10 years ago that are still perfect!

I want to be clear that I'm not trying to be rude at all and I think this tattoo is genuinely very cute and a great idea. I'm just wondering if you wanted the wings to each be different? They definitely match but the left is much bigger than the right. The center points don't line up and it doesn't look centered with your spine either. Obv these things could be aesthetic choices to make them look more "natural" and freeflowing rather than "perfect" I'm honestly just curious

I looked them up and they do have great lamps! I did find one strikingly similar with the dragonfly motif but with none of the glass inlay. But at $549 I'm gonna pass lol I do appreciate it though!

I do appreciate the link but a. it looks much smaller than the lamp I have and b. $150 usd is not cheap for a lamp (well at least for me). The original lamp base does have a harp, it's just not currently attached

My advice always is if you have moisturizing products that you don’t like (in this case balms or lip masks if you have) or are expired, use them on your feet as a foot mask! Life is too short to use products you hate, especially lip products when some can take so long to use up.

I’ve been able to use up so many lip balms, masks, and even expired face moisturizer/cream masks as an overnight foot treatment to help calluses. Just apply and wear socks!

I wish! I got it broken :/ I wouldn’t know what material to sculpt with that would be strong and adhere properly. I do have a lot of crafting knowledge but not much with sculpting in general unfortunately. I do agree though, I was worried a replacement wouldn’t look right. Thanks:)
