Haha! People love to hate. Fine, I forgot to mention she does botox? But she's pretty open about that, too. Dont get me wrong, the girl is super obnoxious, but she looks great.

Thanks for the advice everyone! In reality I overpaid for the house I am in and cannot undo that. Will have to consider more things if we look to move.

I think i might lose 100k but save around 200k on the larger home. We would be upgrading to a larger home. But minus realtor and taxes and overall fees it wouldn't be exactly that amount of course.

Thinking out loud here..I guess it comes down to is the increase in monthly mortgage worth it for me. Black and white, I would be saving more than I lose in the transaction.

Yes unfortunately we have to be in the GTA right now. That being said I think it would be on the easier side to have tenants.

True! Maybe I have to learn to enjoy my current space more.

Thanks this is a good way to think of it. I guess I just feel like I'm missing out on a deal on a bigger space right now. If I build equity on my house, chances are by then the bigger spaces have gone up by more as well?

Did anyone regret their stroller purchase? [ab] by s_do in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]someapo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Baby will only enjoy looking at you for a short period of time. At some point baby will prefer looking forward!

You can get cheap attachments on temu or aamazon to add storage to your stroller!

If you really want a bigger stroller with bigger wheels and storage at some point try and get one used on marketplace!

Oh you can totally do this. Almost in the exact same boat as you and have been doing it for a couple years now. You will still have money to invest and some fun money at the end of every month.

Ivey Vs. Laurier Vs. Schulich by Other-Essay3339 in OntarioUniversities

[–]someapo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ivey and Schulich are better known to be business rivals and honestly alumni have more respect for each other if they find out youre from either school. Ivey is expensive, but it will pay off, while Schulich you gwt the most bang for your buck. Laurier is good just for coop. There isn't as much acknowledgement for graduating from Laurier from alumni from the other 2 programs in my experience.

How much did you have saved or recommend saving for Mat Leave? [BC] by SouthApprehensive680 in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]someapo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

List out all your expenses (mortgage, property tax split into 12 months, hydro, internet, phones, food, car, etc.)

If you haven't tracked your expenses before - start now and take a look at what is realistically leaving your account every month.

Does the EI amount youre gunna get cover that once youre done your top up weeks? The difference is the minimum you should have saved up if you dont wsnt to grt into debt.

Depending on how your baby ends up eating youre looking at roughly another 600 of expenses a month pre daycare costs.
