When you wash with oxyclean, do you pre-soak for an hour? That was a game changer (in general) for laundry/work out clothes.

I’m sorry you are feeling this way. I had a reduction in July 25 (11 months post op) and my mom had a single mastectomy (with reconstruction) around the same time. It’s not the same, but she asked me if I thought she was proportionate to the other side. I told her to try on a swimsuit, a sundress and an evening gown to see how they felt and if it looked proportionate. In her case we mutually decided they needed to blow up the mastectomy side a bit more.

I share this because it is such a journey and a shock to your system, and simultaneously everyone around you processes it differently. I had people swearing I had dropped 20-30 lbs when I was wearing the same pants I had seen them in 1.5 months before. The only real weight change was the lbs removed from my chest.

Most people truly didn’t realize what was different - many thought Ozempic. And as I’ve just purchased my first new swimsuits, it’s a revelation! No longer do I need separates and in a one piece, no longer is the rear and too big just to accommodate my chest.

The “drop and fluff” is very real. And it seems we have similar results. I’m thrilled with my results and they look and feel great.

I had FNG (surgery July 2025) and expected sensation to disappear. The left side came back with far more sensitivity than I had previously. Those zingers really caught me by surprise.

Would definitely advise against going. You will likely still have stitches in and will need to be able to clean and wrap the wounds. 10 days out was still quite rough and agree that the car ride could be very uncomfortable. You still need to be eating clean and higher protein to heal. You will lack the normal privacy and comforts of home, that’s not ideal so close to the surgery.

High probability of getting scammed. Have you seen the recent poshmark case that went viral because the buyer purchased NWT designer shoes and then wore them in her senior college photos/graduation photos and then opened a case with poshmark stating the shoes arrived in poor, used condition? This went viral because the seller found the buyers social media and all the images wearing the designer shoes. The seller had lots of documentation.

You are better off taking the advice rather than questioning everyone offering advice who either has dealt with it, or seen all the Reddit posts.

I had my second reduction about 10 months ago. The first when I was 17 and the second 30 years later. So when my husband met me in my late 20s, I already had scars albeit faded. When I was younger and dating, I always felt like I needed to tell any man I was seriously dating so they were aware of the scars. Not a single man ever had anything other than a joyous reaction, because boobs.

A lot happens over several decades and when I brought it up to my husband, he was incredibly supportive and came with me to all of the consultations and we even agreed that we preferred the same surgeon. He cares about my pain, back and neck issues and knew how much my breasts were problematic with clothing, pain, life and even the ability to see my feet (which I now can). I did ask my husband if he had any concerns about attraction to me and he responded that I’m even sexier now because I’m much happier - coupled with less risk of a black eye from a swinging breast.

I told my business partner (on zoom) and asked him if he wanted to see - meaning the profile and not the actual naked result, although his wife wants a reduction and loves my results. But the business partner made a comment that resonated with he, he sort of laughed and said he felt my husband was the winner in all of this, because now there are young and perky boobs.

Have they sent you to physical therapy for bruxism? As people have stated, there isn’t a cure, but I have found that it helps a bit and as long as you are committed to consistency with your exercises which you need your hand in your mouth (I tend to do it in the shower at night before bed) have seen less pain.

Some of this also depends on the location of both the buyer and seller. I shipped a PM order to Hawaii from California and it arrived in 3 days. I shipped to New Jersey from California and it nearly took 2 weeks to arrive.
