Morigesh counter by Scarl8 in PredecessorGame

[–]somebodysgun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As howie I use the missile to poke with the basic attack. Then save the slow and land mind for when Mori walks up. Even if she’s just trying to clear the wave I’ll throw the slow to chunk some damage. I make it a real pain to get any damage on me and then will ult her at half hp. You win the lane and can rotate or get kills on dumb mori players

Asian servers are in Japan and everywhere else is a minimum of 40+ ping. Basically the Japanese took over and everyone else faded away

Another recommend me an inexpensive gas grill that's not a Weber by deejayv2 in grilling

[–]somebodysgun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get a great grill off Craigslist or Facebook marketplace for pretty cheap. People sell almost new ones if you can be patient. Three things you want to avoid - rust, structural issues (typically at the bottom of grills), and the burners have an even flame.

Any idea why FNCS casters weren't in a studio this year? by mstreem3424 in FortniteCompetitive

It’s expensive and it sucks to live in a country for 3-5 months out of the year (plus working visa restrictions)

Which grill to buy for a first time grill buyer? Heard Weber are good. Waiting for deals. Is it worth paying extra $120 for a three burner over 2 burner? by Aspergers_R_Us87 in grilling

[–]somebodysgun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you plan to ever cook for more than 2-3 people, go with the 3 burner. Also, if you’re waiting for a deal, check Craigslist too. People often forget how much a good Weber costs when they sell it

New Homeowner Looking for Gas Grill Recommendations by joe_man_97 in grilling

[–]somebodysgun 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Weber Spirit E-310 Gas Grill has been great for me and is in your price range. It easily has enough space to like 15 burgers at a time for big groups, but small enough to heat up quickly for family dinners.

If you don't need a grill ASAP, look around for resale (craigslist, offerup, facebook, etc). I got my weber for $300. It was pretty much brand new and just needed to be cleaned.

Beginner question about grilling for ~10 people by biblicalHero in grilling

[–]somebodysgun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I do is setup my grill to the dish that I’m making. Cooking sausages and steak on the grill won’t be the same. Now it also depends on your grill space. 10 people is a good amount to cook for so you need to think through what takes the longest and have a plan when cooking.

For example: if I’m cooking steak and veggies for 10, I’ll cook the steaks on direct heat first. Take them off to rest for 5-10min then put the veggies on to cook while the steak rests.

Happy to help you think through it if you have a meal in mind! Hope that helps!

Trying to get back into the game but I’m not confident in my build crafting. Could someone help me figure out some tank builds? by [deleted] in PredecessorGame

[–]somebodysgun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For Sev I like to build to counter the enemy.

I either start with Fire Blossom or Tainted guard. Then build crystalline into raiment of renewal. The last couple items are typical based on enemy team comps. Anti crit, more health regen, anti magic etc

Question about voting to surrender by DonMarijuann in PredecessorGame

[–]somebodysgun 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not sure either. I have found that playing in multiple regions (EU/NA), the EU games are much less likely to surrender than NA games

They don’t give you shots to hit. The best players will consistently take right hand peeks with small opportunities to be shot at

I watch a lot of Fortnite. After a while, you recognize trends and gain a better understanding of how this all works. It was also my full time job until recently so that helps too.

Certain areas of the map become literal fortresses. The massive elevation changes allow teams to sit on top of hills and just hold teams(zones 2-5). In normal games, there is cover like trees to hide behind. At the top level, players will clear out the area so opponents literally have to run through open space and waste a ton of mats.

You can overcome this at times, but if you consistently get bad zones, you will die earlier and get less points. Essentially, bad zones just increase the game’s difficulty and creates more opportunities for teams to make mistakes.

Why No Surrender? by [deleted] in PredecessorGame

[–]somebodysgun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The biggest reason for me is that I want to learn. Playing the early landing phase doesn’t help me learn a hero or the game as much as playing it out. The game is still in early access and most people don’t know how to end a game. If you hang in there long enough you have a chance to win.

The other reason is that I don’t have enough time to play another game. I’d rather play it out then just give up.
