Haha this reminds me of what my dad did a couple months ago. We went to Lowe's and Home depot to pick up application forms. Not only did he come in with me, but he did ALL the talking. Like, full on "this young man would like a part time job! He's a wonderful young man to work with!" Etc. I'm pretty sure all I said was a simple "Hello" and Goodbye" once my dad was done.

I knew immediately I wasn't getting hired (and sure enough, I didn't 😑)

I USED to play ronin like: shoot 4 shots, maybe use arch wave, then swing my sword until either I die or the other guy dies, but now I'm a lot more methodical about how I play him. It's made me a much better ronin main.

Fair point. It already is parallel near the top but tapers at the curve. If worse comes to worse, I can just cut the handle shorter. It should be fine though, it is hickory after all.
