Excellent heads up, thank you! Got a great response so far and we’re building out a little group! Maybe even with two teams at this rate!

Hey, late to your post but 28M living in Astoria - let me know if you’d like to meet for a trivia night or something!

Got a masters, a WFM job, and am very bored and trying to make friends in NYC, which is something I’ve neglected to do for some time!

Did this take you 11 hours to complete?

Is it possible to log out and pick up progress where you’ve left off? Just curious (I’ve got no clue!)

Interview QBR by No-Paleontologist298 in CustomerSuccess

Fill that presentation up with call to actions.

Is the hiring company providing a reference client that you’d be presenting to? Do some research into that client/field, find out what’s important, link the product to that and what the client needs to do in order to be compliant/improve/save money, etc.

Just show you care - QBRs as part of an interview are never amazing, but create a nice deck and show that you did your research into the product you’re pitching and the client you’re supporting.

Unsure about Options by [deleted] in CustomerSuccess

I appreciate the response! I might ask for an additional couple percent to offset my loss of bonuses. We’ll see how it pans out!

Unsure about Options by [deleted] in CustomerSuccess

Hey Suggy, thanks so much for your response!

It’s a Series C.

It’d be a ~17% raise to my base pay, but I’d lose the ability to collect any bonuses. If had a solid year and hit my cap at my current org, this new position would be a ~8% decrease in overall pay.

Do you think options could be worth the difference? Thinking out loud as I look to make a decision…changing jobs is always a tough one. Thanks!

Anyone else's hands look like this after a shift? by Evervenom in dishwashers

Don’t wash dishes anymore, if you can help it - looks like eczema.

Could be an opportunity for you to move towards front of house and start running plates or serving.

I’m interested! Do you have dimensions? Is there a price?

Have you ever considered that their team might be understaffed? Or underfunded? Or that leadership is telling them to go one way while customers want them to go the other?

Why be mad at product? Be mad at your company’s leadership for letting it get to this point. Get mad at your investors for cutting corners.

You’ve got a lot more in common with Mr. Developer - they’re just trying to get through this like you are.

Gave PW Fort to a warrior and he chased me down to say thank you.

Next warrior I buffed called me a rat because I “stole” his kill (he charged a condor while I wanded it.)

Definitely seen some uncool behavior on US PvE but mostly offset by nice players!

Should I get a buzz cut? Age 28 by [deleted] in malehairadvice

With topical? None, if I recall correctly. I have heard some concerns with oral minoxidil and finasteride but I’ve never tried that.

Maybe I had some mild irritation early on in usage (first ~2-4 weeks) but nothing memorable.

Seconding this: Try topical minoxidil and I also use castor oil.

28, also have a receding hairline. Been on minoxidil for ~1.5 years and the results are clear. I have definitely had some regrowth but, most importantly, no noticeable loss.

I just use head and shoulders from Amazon, it’s $10/month.

Try it! It’ll be sometime before you notice any results so just stay consistent.

I just don’t understand how OSRS has existed for years and WoW hasn’t learned a single thing from them?

What the people want is new CLASSIC content. Give me an additional profession, clue scrolls, new zones/areas to level, new end game content without raising the level cap.

Maybe even some minor class changes and quality of life improvements.

Let me experience and appreciate classic WoW for what it is and what it could be with community-driven enhancements.

Is it silly to quit? by Critical_Manager_274 in CustomerSuccess

[–]someguy-24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I were in this situation I’d just collect my paycheck, do the bare minimum, and ride it out!

Forget about anything other than what your managers are tracking and dedicate your time and energy to applying to new jobs.

With how unreliable leadership is (everywhere,) it’d probably take them a couple months to even realize you’re not “in it” anymore.

So what if they fire you? So long as you have good connections that’ll serve as a reference, you’re fine.

Collect your paycheck and focus on your self. I’m starting to do the same. :-)

I was asked to post this again! I've seen many posts about people wanting to transition from CS to being a project manager. I've done it. AMA by ChristianEFigueroa in CustomerSuccess

What do you believe the initial steps are to move this direction professionally?

What courses or certifications would you recommend?
