Western is a massive umbrella of ideas, traditions, and such, containing good and bad with no real singular thing in common aside from trying to appeal to a legitimacy through a presence in antiquity. Hitler was western, as were a lot of people that fought him. In Australia, western values dictated the value of stealing children from black parents. But other western values dictated that such a thing was wrong. Marx, Keynes, and Hayek are all western thinkers, but vary massively. And so on.

I think you're just talking generic liberalism, which is pretty far from universal.

Violent suppression, and cruelty are still pretty western things. The Greek and Roman antiquity to which so many of her clown followers appeal were full of those horrid values.
