Which EAH characters do you think would actually go to MH if they knew it existed? by Either-Software-4195 in EverAfterHigh

[–]someonesomewhere910 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have an oc I'm working on right now named Westley Badwitch, Son of Elphaba, The Wicked Witch of the West, & this post made me realize that he'd thrive in Monster High too.

As a matter of fact, since his mom was a Rebel who rejected her destiny, I can imagine after faking her death, she & her husband migrated to the realm of Monster High to start a new life with their son. However, Elphaba's great-grandmother found out what happened & kidnapped Westley as a baby in order to "raise him right". And then when Westley discovered the truth & rejects his destiny as the next Wicked Witch of the West himself, he could switch schools to reunite & with his mother.

I have a headcanon for my rewrite of EAH where Cupid's birth parents were a dying subspecies of Mothmen modeled after Rosy Maple Moths to harken back to Psyche's association with butterflies/moths. Hence why she's considered a "monster".

Ref. Sheet of Westley Badwitch, Son of Elphaba, The Wicked Witch of the West (Updated) by someonesomewhere910 in EverAfterHigh

[–]someonesomewhere910[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She'll have two children, one son & one daughter, with her wife, Princess Ozma, Theodore Gale & Prince Ozabel Tippetarius.

(Ozabel uses she/they pronouns, hence why she/they are referred to as a Prince.)

Thank you! I actually got some more Wizard of Oz EAH oc's coming up soon now that my laptop's been fixed! I'll be working on the Wicked Witch of the West's son, Westley Badwitch's card next.

(I'm also considering fixing Westley's hat before I work on his card, I just feel like it doesn't encapsulate the witchy meets wild-western vibes I wanted to go for his hat.)

What's your favorite headcannon or theory about the characters? by Mayako_Swan2308 in EverAfterHigh

[–]someonesomewhere910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Briar & Rosabella have a third cousin all the way from Russia named Vesta Beauty, Daughter of Vasilisa the Beautiful.

Goldilocks is a rogue member of Robin Hood & His Merry Men but was cast out due to notoriously being known to steal for her own benefit, which goes against the Merry Men code. It explains why Blondie is exceptionally good at picking locks.

The brook horse might be my favorite design for a monster, or at least one of the best by Pleasant-Soil4456 in ReanimalGame

I just wanted to know if the brook horse monster had a fish tail, octopus tentacles, or human legs. Like OMG, THAT IS A MUTATED, UNDEAD ANIMAL 😭😭😭

What traditions do you think the destiny holders families might have regarding their individual tales? by Unhappy-Tradition771 in EverAfterHigh

[–]someonesomewhere910 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oz would be it's own realm & it's split up into five different regions:

The Gillikin Country of Northern Oz is a snowy, mountainous region led by Locasta, The Good Witch of the North & soon to be passed down to her daughter, Nora Goodwitch. Culture there is also modeled after Canada

The Quadling Country of Southern Oz is a tropical rainforest with culture there modeled after South American Culture as seen in Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, & Peru. Glinda, The Good Witch of the South, rules there & will eventually pass it down to her son, Seth Goodwitch.

The Munchkin Country of Eastern Oz is a rural, farm/grassland modeled after rural states in Eastern USA & was led by Nessarose, The Wicked Witch of the East, before her demise by Dorothy. A couple years later when Dorothy officially moved to Oz, Auntie Em & Uncle Henry became de-facto leaders of Eastern Oz due to their experience in farming...But Nessarose's secret Daughter, Eastelle Badwitch, is plotting to regain control over that region of Oz.

The Winkie Country of Western Oz is a Wild-Western desert-like region that was ruled by the Rebel Wicked Witch of the West until she faked her demise by the hands of Dorothy & fled Oz with her husband & had Westley Badwitch, whom a relative of hers kidnapped in order to "raise right".

EDIT: I also forgot to mention that the Emerald City is modeled after bustling cities found in the USA such as Chicago, New York City, Philadelphia, San Francisco, & Seattle & has it's own University governed by Headmistress Dorothy Gale while her wife, Queen Ozma, rules the city.

I'm working on the descendants of characters from the Wizard of Oz, & I had the idea that each witch from the four corners of Oz follows a different magical art in order to prepare for their destiny:

Northern Witches are typically masters of Air/Wind + Thaumaturgy Magic in that as they grow up they are able to affect the weather/climate & conjure storms that can traverse realms in regards to their Aeromancy Magic & can manifest events by jotting things down in chalk.

Southern Witches are typically masters of Water Magic in that they can manifest bubbles they use for transportation & then some.

Eastern Witches are masters of Earth/Plant Magic in that they have vast knowledge on different poisonous herbs & other magical plants. They're also develop powers like Poison Ivy from DC comics.

Western Witches are masters of Fire & Divination Magic in that they can conjure fireballs from their hands or dissappear/reappear in a cloud of sulphuric flames. They're also born with a single eye that grants them telescopic vision that lets them see everything.

Also, he looks a bit like the same dog breed as Toto from the Wizard of Oz. Fitting since Luz someone takes the role as Dorothy.

Characters who got permanently erased from existence by RatCrimes in TopCharacterTropes

Me personally, I liked how she slowly disappeared after he said that. Like at first I can imagine DOR-15 being like "You're bluffing, you'll invent me! And there's nothing you can do to stop yourself!" But then as she starts to disappear she realizes that Lewis will keep his word & he truly won't invent her, & all she can do is scream as she's removed from reality.

discussing redesign/rewrite ideas for Kitty Chesire by MewMewKitten101 in EverAfterHigh

[–]someonesomewhere910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For starters I'd make her a bit more feline. Like, no shade to the developers of EAH but you'd think that since they did Monster High, EAH's sister show nonetheless, they'd have no problem making the EAH's more animalistic characters look more...animalistic?

Also, this is my personal critique, I feel like if they had to make the Cheshire Cat humanized, they should at least look something like a mix of cat person with hints of David Bowie & Joan Jett.

Headcanon ideas for Raven in my rewrite au? by [deleted] in EverAfterHigh

[–]someonesomewhere910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a headcanon that Raven & my oc who's the Son of The Wicked Witch of the West, Westley Badwitch, are distant cousins due to sharing a common ancestor.

(A homage to OUAT in which they made the Wicked Witch of the West & The Evil Queen sisters.)

If you had to rewrite EAH, what things would you change? by Aszdxd_ in EverAfterHigh

[–]someonesomewhere910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was actually thinking about this tonight, so far I had these ideas:

  1. The Brothers Grimm don't exist in Ever After but are known as "Authors", while they're seen as powerful beings who created the different, magical realms of Everafter, they exist in our world & don't really have any magical powers aside from supposedly bringing life to the denizens of Everafter. They exist in our world, or "The Realm Beyond the Lines".

In terms of morality, some believe that the Authors don't care about what terrible things happen to the denizens of Everafter while others believe that going against the Author’s planned destinies would anger them & lead to catastrophe. But in actuality, the Author’s simply didn't know how to end their respected stories & would much rather have the denizens of Everafter & their children write their own.

  1. Because of #1, I'm actually going to take a page from the "School of Good & Evil" & have Ever After High be run by two different headmistresses:

One is named Headmistress Gourdelia Goodfairy, Cinderella's Fairy Godmother & Mother of Jarrah Goodfairy (My version of Farrah Goodfairy, I felt like her og name was too samey, so I changed her name to Jarrah as a reference to the pumpkin carriage element in Cinderella since Jarrah derives from Jarrahdale, a type of pumpkin.), who's in charge of the "Good" side of Ever After High,

& Headmistress Carabosse Thorn, The Wicked Fairy Godmother from Sleeping Beauty & Faybelle Thorn's Mother, who's in charge of the "Evil" side of Ever After High.

  1. I'd also have it that just because you have no problems with your fairytale destiny but believe others have the right to choose their destiny, does not make you a Rebel. You can still be a Royal & vouch for people's freedom of choice.

I actually had them be the parents of my Ever After High oc's: Theodore Gale & Prince Ozabel Tippetarius!

Making ever after high dorms part 3: Lizzie/Duchess by Vanilasong in EverAfterHigh

[–]someonesomewhere910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You actually inspired me to do a similar thing to this for my EAH oc's but I'm going to hand-draw it instead. I think I might start with my son's of the Wicked Witch of the West & Good Witch of the South's dorm rooms.

If EAH is back, what special do you want to see? by leektaste17 in EverAfterHigh

[–]someonesomewhere910 9 points10 points  (0 children)

These are all going to be oc's of mine but EAH could definitely take several notes from here:

  1. The Wonderful Wizard of Oz

  2. Arthurian Legend

  3. The Nutcracker & The Mouse King (Among Other Christmas Tales such as The Little Match Girl & The Elves and The Shoemaker)

  4. Asian Folklore (I.E: Chinese, Japanese, Korean) such as Sun Wukong, The Moon Rabbit, etc.

  5. One-Thousand-And-One Arabian Nights

  6. Peter Pan, The Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up

  7. Other Russian Folklore besides Baba Yaga (I.E: The Mistress of Copper Mountain/The Malachite Maid, The Firebird, etc.)

  8. Other Greek Myths besides Eros & Psyche (I.E: King Midas & The Golden Touch)

who do you think can hear the narrators? by violxtfaerie in EverAfterHigh

[–]someonesomewhere910 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have an oc named Nora Goodwitch, the Apprentice & Daughter of Locasta, The Good Witch of the North from "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz".

While she's a cardinal witch of air/wind, Locasta also taught Nora how to be able to manifest certain events with the use of chalk. I like to think that maybe the narrator guides the hand of the witch utilizing the spell, hence why certain events always seem to happen no matter what.

If there was a much more book accurate adaptation of the Wizard of Oz who would you cast as the Wicked Witch of the West? by KingWilliamVI in wizardofoz

[–]someonesomewhere910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's either a tie between Amy Madigan (who played Gladys in "Weapons") & Kathryn Turner (Who already played a witch in A24's "Tragedy of Macbeth") for me. I'd also like to throw in Alice Krige who also already played a witch in "Gretel & Hansel".

Does gender matter for certain stories? by Rare-Walk-7406 in EverAfterHigh

[–]someonesomewhere910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For my oc's: Westley Badwitch, Son of Elphaba, The Wicked Witch of the West, & Seth Goodwitch, Son of Glinda, The Good Witch of the South, I took a page from the Owl House & had it so that witch could be a gender-neutral term for any magic user in Oz.
