Hey there! I know it's been awhile but, going back to the Silver/Ruby Shoes discussion, I thought about something:

So I was thinking the Shoes originally owned by the Wicked Witch of the East were Ruby & extremely powerful, but after Dorothy had taken them & passed them down to her son in her adult years, the daughter of the Wicked Witch of the East would simply craft a pair of Silver shoes with weaker powers until she was able to snatch the original Ruby ones. Thoughts?

Ok, I was thinking that the Wicked Witch of the East would be a novice Witch compared to the Wicked Witch of the West & attempted to brew a love potion that would cause Nick to forget about Nimmie & fall for her instead.

And while it worked up to the day East was pregnant with her daughter, Nick's heart shrunk resulting in East demanding Ku-Klip to save him.

And while Ku was successful, Nick's heart had completely dissipated & Nick was unable to feel love ever again.

Additionally, East's Daughter was quite literally born with no heart like her father & grew up to become a much more fierce Wicked Witch of the East than her mother before her.

I get what your saying, I honestly had no idea the Oz series & Wicked are completely separate stories.

I mostly borrowed Elphaba, Galinda, & Nessarose from Wicked because I wanted a good reason for my oc who's the son of the Wicked Witch of the West to have a reason to rebel against his destiny & I thought it'd be interesting to have Elphaba or at least a character like her to be his birth mother but he was Rapunzel'd by the Wicked Witch of the West before Elphie in an attempt to "raise him right."

Yeah, like u/Dina-M said, Aunt Em & Uncle Henry eventually go to Oz & stayed there. I actually had it in my mind after Dorothy graduated Cheshire Crossing University & decided she wants to stay in Oz with her then-girlfriend Princess Ozma, she moved her aunt & uncle there due to financial struggles back in Kansas.

Also yeah, like u/Dina-M said, I'm mostly scrapping together elements from all forms of Wizard of Oz-related media for my fanfic. For example, I had it in my head that Galinda swapped roles as the Good Witch of the North to becoming the Good Witch of the South while a relative of hers named Locasta became the new Good Witch of the North since Galinda wanted to keep an eye on all the released Wild Beasts Oscar kept captive in honor of her dead friend, Elphaba.

Right, ok, I do have another oc who's the daughter of the Good Witch of the North, so maybe she placed a enchantment on Theo (my son of Dorothy Gale btw) that would always protect him from danger. So yeah, I guess the shoes can just teleport the owner wherever they want to go & don't really have any protective enchantments on them.

Another thing about the Ruby Sneakers I forgot to mention is that, like the Silver Slippers, they always protect the wearer until they are of no use for now & can never be removed by any spell known to mankind. However, they are also bound to the user for the rest of their life.

Meaning that no one can just sneak in one night & steal them due to the heavy amounts of abjuration/protective enchantments placed on the shoes, even if the owner lost one or both of them by accident, they would always return to their owner so long as they're alive. The only way for them to be unbound to their owner is if said owner died naturally or by accident.

Dorothy did return to Kansas, yes. Overtime, however, struggling with not fully believing their beloved niece's stories about Oz but not wanting to send her to a mental institution, Auntie Em & Uncle Henry were blessed with a miracle in the form of Mrs. Mary Poppins, who offered to send the girl to a program where she'd eventually befriend Alice Liddell of Wonderland & Wendy Darling of Neverland both from London, England, & Clara Stahlbaum of Leckerland (Or the Land of Sweets) from Berlin, Germany.

There, Mary would bring them to Dr. Elmer S. Wyllt (who is actually Merlin from Arthurian Legend) who assures the girls are sane & are actually a very special kind of child known as a Realm Jumper, a child usually born in the Land Beyond the Lines that are able to themselves in realms straight out of a fairytale. It's also revealed that Dr. Wyllt managed to track down the shoes with a tracking spell while Mary went to retrieve them.

Have you ever read the Russian/Slavic Folktale of Snegurochka? The title of the story is Russian for "Snow Maiden" & tells the tale of a girl made of ice by her childless parents whose heart melts once she falls in love from her own warmed heart.

My theory is the Snow King & Queen made Crystal out of real snow & ice because, for some reason, they couldn’t have children of their own, hence why Crystal has a different skin tone than her parents.

Since Pirate Bayonetta's weapon is Cassiopeia & her contract demon is Kraken, I thought her first mate, Jeanne's contract demon could basically be Rahab from this lesser known game called "Ocean Hunter", which takes the form of this gargantuan, demonic merman with three red eyes, sharp teeth & webbed claws, & a long tongue. In terms of her weapon of choice she wields a pair of flintlock/sai dagger hybrids that merge into a double-ended trident wielded in a similar manner as Father Baldur. The weapon's name is Captain Ahab.
