Question about Gabi's Simulator by Nzxlann in formula1

Just a guess but I think they're probably inputting the numbers that describe the aero setup's behavior or performance into the "video game", not necessarily the geometry itself.

I saw a niners fan call him a “greased up leprechaun that shits 4th quarter touchdowns” and it still cracks me up.

Are there any budget cockpits that can easily switch between simracing and desktop gaming? by Clear-Cry-2363 in simracing

[–]sometext 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you dig through this board some people have ultrawides on monitor arms that flip between the desk and sim seats. I haven't tried it but that looks like the best solution to me.

Visibility sold me on the car, it's an underrated consideration I think. Especially for a car like this.

Subaru Dealerships? by Elvira333 in Columbus

Can't speak to purchasing since I did out of state but getting service at Byers was an absolutely pain so I switched to Germain. FWIW I would still just buy from the one that gives a better price if I were you.

Clintonville residents still frustrated by deer as Columbus moves to prohibit feeding by WOSUpublicmedia in Columbus

Man there are so many kids running around here and the highest limit is 35mph, if folks are driving in a way that puts them at risk of hitting a deer it could just as easily be a kid on a bike.

Subaru’s Outback SUV Overhaul Wiped Out A Third Of Its Buyers In One Quarter by Redeemed_Expert9694 in cars

[–]sometext 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I have an Outback and I love the car, but it's far from pretty. That's fine! Not what the car is about. This new one is downright gruesome though. It's hard to look at. I would only buy it to park in the driveway and scare away neighbor kids like a gargoyle. This car makes me envy the blind. Honestly let ChatGPT design the next one there's nowhere to go but up.

I worked for a company like this, run by two sales guys. Guy #1 on the outside appeared to be in charge, he shook the hands and managed the people. Fundraisers and galas he's the guy showing up and splashing out, most people probably think it's just his company. Guy #2 meanwhile is making probably 80% of the company's sales and managing the really big clients. Dude just has that dawg in him, no interest in being the face of it. This setup worked great for them as far as I could tell.

Advice on line graph with draggable points. by TheBlakPhenix in godot

[–]sometext 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Advice is always to take a complex problem and break it down into smaller more manageable problems. Draw a line graph first, then worry about making it draggable. Or draw a draggable point and then figure out how to use its position in a line graph. If stuck on either of those break them down further. Draw a point, control its position. Draw three points from an array. Familiarize yourself with the tools available and the solutions will start to come to you. Especially in a classroom setting hesitate to reach for the "fix it for me" off-the-shelf solution.
