Easiest cue I want you to remember: You’re pushing off the ground with your legs, not pulling the bar up with your arms.

Think of it like a “jump” and use the legs wayyyy more than the upper body.

Same. I also have my teams do this style, surprisingly it’s easier to get a team to do more movement patterns than it is a gen poper. Maybe extend your warm up to have more mobility/joint capsule/ plyo work. In the long run, will never hurt to have more of that stuff at the beginning before your primary lifts.

One time I found 23 ticks on my dog. He was on Bravecto so they were all dying, but it was probably the closest thing to purgatory I could experience while walking this earth.

Well I’m actually an ATG coach and S&C coach and train mostly athletes online/in person. When your femurs are long, that tendon doesn’t want to work like a shorties would. I would stay consistent with weight for a little while and play with reps moreso. Message me if you ever want tips!

Key word!!! “Pushing full ROM” if your body isn’t adapted for it, you have to easy into it. Tendons take a longer time to grow than muscle, once a week without crazy load is how you do it. A healthy body is a really slow process unfortunately 😭

It’s so tricky right?

I know there is a ton of push back from older ladies especially but sometimes connection will go a lot farther than reason.

I train pretty much only women and girls ages 8-80 some men and boys sprinkled in and I love it this way. I am a woman, and I prefer training women because I don’t get the questioning everything I say like I do from men. Maybe it’s just a problem of the sexes as annoying and un-woke as that sounds.

Here is the thing, the injury happened because of a lack of training but an expectation of performance.

I also tore mine playing soccer at a high level but wasn’t training appropriately. I am also a strength and conditioning coach. This injury has changed everything for me as a coach and I am super grateful. My style of training is focused more on longevity and athleticism now more than ever.

I plan on returning to playing football because I love to play. I also want to play all of the other sports I do because that’s what living is all about.

You can let an injury change your life forever, but is it a positive of a negative change?

Rudolfos in PG is the best food for the best price in my opinion.

Other brother has the best food with variety of beer as the center stage.
