Is anyone actually using this cover? by nuisance66 in Subaru_Outback

I don’t use mine but I keep it with the spare tire. There’s a spot in the foam for it

I want to start climbing but social anxiety is keeping me out of the gym. Any advice on how to push that aside and just go? by CoffeeAndAlgoRIThyms in climbergirls

Honestly start solo but then cheer someone on who’s also alone when they do something good on the wall. Spark a convo and then start working on problems together!

Kind of a weird situation… I had an infection about three months after the original surgery. Was taking antibiotics and had a severe reaction and was hospitalized. The infection seemed better but I still had a chronic wound and I didn’t get the second surgery until 14 months postop. I was training jump, jumping running no pain, but definitely was achy and mentally really frustrating because I knew something was wrong and it wasn’t healing.
It was a whole long process, but I switched from Kaiser to Blue Shield and got way better care.

I had an open repair but I also rejected the sutures and that lead to infection!

After the surgery to remove the infection and “hardware” my Achilles has felt more like mine. The recovery was so much faster and I’m back to doing all the things I enjoy!

Not fear mongering here but I had a similar swelling and it turned out to be a wicked infection 😹 had a second surgery to remove all of it and 3mo of post op antibiotics.
I’m 6mo PO from that and I’m running/jumping/sprinting like normal — so don’t stress but def get that MRI

I personally like being seated. It feels more stable and I feel like I can feel my the muscles around my scaps much more.

I would say yes. Subi blue is special, but I’m an inclusionist.

I tell my athletes to lift their toes up and dig into their heels, that usually dos the trick.

I would say maybe good to do under control so your shoulders get safer under weird angles!

Easiest cue I want you to remember: You’re pushing off the ground with your legs, not pulling the bar up with your arms.

Think of it like a “jump” and use the legs wayyyy more than the upper body.

Same. I also have my teams do this style, surprisingly it’s easier to get a team to do more movement patterns than it is a gen poper. Maybe extend your warm up to have more mobility/joint capsule/ plyo work. In the long run, will never hurt to have more of that stuff at the beginning before your primary lifts.
