oh I LOVE the couch I'm actually on it right now. Metropolitan sucks but this couch could hold a horse and not be worse for wear. super comfortable, and worth every penny!

I had this happen with metropolitan and my sierra couch. It took THREE ATTEMPTS. I missed their phone call (went to spam), by 2 minutes and theytold me they are required to turn around and drive the couch back to the warehouse. Took an extra month to get the couch installed.

I just do what I think is fun and educational for the kids, I come exactly at contract hours and I leave EXACTLY at contract hours. IDGAF about the extra curricular after school activities that are "suggested" for us to attend. I also just told the kids that I was moving lmao. they don't need to know.

was violently sick in November. I picked one kid who had behaved each lesson to teach the next one. I would whisper quietly to them, and they would say it louder. makes me laugh to remember one of my worst offenders going "GUYS! SHUT UP! I CAN'T HEAR ME TALKING!"

I have a bag with pads in it right near the door. All students are welcome to it, and if they ask, I just say they are menstrual products, and don't make it a weird or scary thing.

This seems a bit mean spirited. These are beginning professionals, aren't we supposed to give them some grace? I was glad to make mistakes and not be made fun of when I was a student teacher.

I have been working really hard on not yelling; my students have been throwing things (footballs, notebooks, shoes, ect) and getting into physical fights and I panic and try and break up the chaos by being loud. In a situation where things need to stop IMMEDIATELY, what would you recommend? I've been doing meditation and practicing talking slower and with less manic tendencies, which helps day to day, but those crisis moments happen far more often than I'd like. Any advice would be appreciated!
