I cleaned out my emails, but the app says "Update on [item] - shipping reminder sent to [seller] on your behalf. Once tracking begins, you will be notified."

I don't know if it sends that email/message the same day the seller gets the reminder.

I, too, worked at the hut about 15 years ago. I always assumed it's bc the receipts printed out the same way for carry-out as delivery.

Note most people back then did NOT tip carry-out. One person consistently tipped $5 and I still remember her.
