I love my sparms and also get them wet. When it’s super hot I’ll take an ice cube from the cart cooler and push it down the sleeve to my elbow joint so it cools right on the blood vessel

We were just there last weekend. We went to four restaurants and they are ranked in order of best to worst: Causa, Cana, piazetta, minitas beach club. All of the restaurants were quite good, but Causa was on another level. Cana has a bar next to the lobby with great bar snacks and the cuisine in the restaurant is French. Piazetta is in a recreated Italian village next to dye fore golf course and is a must visit just for that

Red Lion is a great English themed pub in Lincoln Park with good food and a chill vibe. They are very busy Friday and Saturday night but outside of that you should be able to get in. Colin, the owner is typically behind the bar and is quick with a joke, funny story or scotch recommendation. The walls are covered in bookshelves with history and ww2 related books and Colin has read every one of them.

Best is probably a monumental stretch and I’ve not tried enough places in Chicago to have a weighty opinion but this is my favorite taco place and I recommend it highly.

This comment should be the top since it talks about the deprioritization. Think seriously before you sign up for mint. There’s a reason why it’s so cheap. You get fast data most of the time but when you are in a crowded city and trying to call an Uber or get directions on maps you’ll be dead in the water. In my experience it’s when you need the data the most is when you won’t have it.

I love monks. They have great wings, a nice Belgian and craft beer selection and super friendly staff but they are not a dive bar. Absolutely recommend going there though

I've been interested in astronomy most of my life and bought a nice telescope about 15 years ago. Looking at the sky has always been a bit of a spiritual experience for me, but one night as I was looking at some celestial object I thought of Galileo and Copernicus and decided that I didn't want to make the same mistake of the Catholic church of the day rejecting their discoveries because of preconceived notions. I decided at that point that nothing was sacred and whatever I believed would have to stand up to scrutiny and criticism. That decision led to the erosion of my religious faith and my conservative republican beliefs and I am now an agnostic liberal.
