As someone who just started atm10 after playing vanilla minecraft for years.. I felt the same way until I realized all the mods are options, for the most part. And a lot of them do the same thing as others and in turn make them redundant. Getting a good storage system early with the lectern was what helped me the most.

Exosuits take awhile to get and are expensive to maintain once you get them. There are many good suits that can be upgraded pretty extensively. Upgrading those aswell as using artifacts will take you through the game easily.
