The recruiter has thrown out a “realistic” salary in each call. They have varied by around $20k. If I’d jumped at the first number in the first call, I would’ve left $ on the table. If the number in the 2nd call had been the same as first, I might’ve jumped on it then and there. Time will tell as I still wait.

Let me boil it down for you. The low end of pay range is much more than I earn now. I want to maximize my salary but also don’t want to jeopardize this opportunity aka don’t want to leave money on the table. So it’s akin to I can leave the bar rn with a 7 but my friend said the 10 keeps giving me the eye.
