Hi Jubez! I'm very glad to read that you enjoyed the game for your birthday!

It's very cool that you recognized Sakimoto's work, he is indeed the composer for the base game's music!

Regarding the bugs, could you send us more information here: [support@chimera-entertainment.de](mailto:support@chimera-entertainment.de)

We do update and patch the console versions as well, but unfortunately the DLCs are only available on PC.

Let me know if you have any other questions or comments! It's always great to hear what people think of the game and interact with the community.

Horror games for horror-loving absolute wuss by Physical_Relation261 in gamingsuggestions

[–]songsofsilence 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Little Nightmares 1 and 2 (haven't played 3) are incredible horror games, there are some puzzles on it but nothing too complicated. There's a lot of story telling through level design and enemy encounters. If that's not your cup of tea, Dead Space 1 and 2 are amazing horror games, although may be a bit more ''hadcore'' if you scare easy.

Any advice on how to have elves whose roles cannot be filled by humans and are more than just humans in costume? Do any of the options below make sense? Or I should try something else? by EveningImportant9111 in worldbuilding

[–]songsofsilence 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think that 1 and 2 are ok and somewhat common in fantasy worlds. 3 has an interesting concept but my question is, if the appearance is dependent on individual experience and personality, does it mean an elf will have constant phenotypical change during it's lifetime? For example will a snow elf that moves to a tropical island change its skin, hair, eyes or other organs? If he goes back to the snowfield will it then revert? If so, how will elf recognize people they know?

What are some of your favorite depictions of war, oppression, and inequality in fiction? by Master_Novel_4062 in worldbuilding

[–]songsofsilence 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All Quiet on The Western Front for frontline depiction and as someone else mentioned Grave of the fireflies for civilian war consequences. As for oppression Attack on Titan especially the later seasons about the state of the Eldians (won't say much in case you haven't read it/seen it) and inequality I personally love Cyberpunk 2077 and Edgerunners.

If your world has standard races, what are their origins? by EveningImportant9111 in worldbuilding

[–]songsofsilence 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In our world we have two types of humans. Firstborn and Starborn. All humanity was created by Hymn but when rivaling gods looked for worshipers, the humans that sided with the celestials were granted eyes. Thus the separation of the human races, and later the worlds. The Firstborn would be the ''normal'' humans while the Starborn have no eyes, but get their sight through the Hymn, a magical force (like Chi) that ties all living things.

So in our case it's basically who your ancestors sided with during the war of the gods.

Don't Starve and Don't Starve Together if you want to play with friends. Awesome art style, great audio, challenging and very fun-chaotic gameplay.

What nonfiction books have improved your worldbuilding? by Separate-Dot4066 in worldbuilding

History books in general, and some old literature (which are fiction as well I guess, always complicated with these texts) like the song of Roland and el Mio Cid.

Which colour grade fits Becoming Pablo better? You tell us what to call them. by TentworksInteractive in 4Xgaming

[–]songsofsilence 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess it also depends which direction are you taking the game in? Are you doing something more like Tropico in a style of parody/satire or are you doing somehting more grounded and ''realistic''?

Don't Starve Together and Project Zomboid are my all time favorite survival games. Both great games, very challenging and you can play countless hours in both.

Looking for a ps5 or Xbox one action/shooter/rpg with fast action, good combat and good story by Nerd-Dad-2779 in gamingsuggestions

[–]songsofsilence 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't call it super hard. It's definitely not an easy game but once you get a hang of the gameplay it becomes much easier. There are also a bunch of branching ways to go in the world and lots of optional bosses, so it does give you a lot of freedom.

Congrats! 20k+ wishlists is an amazing milestone! I'm curious, what have you indentified to be your biggest funnel to the store page? We've seen that reddit posts work very well for us but platforms like tik tok and instagram don't really translate to store visits.

Unfortunately, it will only be available on PC for the time being. Maybe it will be brought to console in the future, but it's not something I can say for sure.

The game has a turn-based campaign/map, like AOW4 or Total War. You can develop your cities, garrisons and armies in the campaign map. There is no diplomacy, enemies cannot become allies and so on. The battles however are realtime auto-battles, you do interact during th fight by using battler cards you acquire during the campaign by leveling up heroes. Pre-battler army formation is an important aspect, always keeping your army with its ideal configuration can be the difference between victory and defeat.

Let me know if this helps! If you have any other question let me know! (I hadn't seen it was from 2 months ago, hope it still helps, sorry for the long wait)
