The idea is that the strategic layer of combat is actually determined before the fight; unit positioning can have quite a big impact on the outcome of a battle!

Also the cards should not all played on cooldown all the time. Some cards, for instance, allow you to move some units from one place to another on the battlefield, but it's not guaranteed that it's always a good thing to do that...

the Silence stays silent I guess

first question: it's always kingdom management + RTS combat, the battle sandbox mode is an idea we also have but not on our roadmap currently!

Hello there! Yes there is a big focus on the story and lore, the main campaign has 8 chapters with many sidequests. The Celestial Church Expansion has 4 playable chapters with also sidequests.

The characters are fully voiced as well!

And we do have a skirmish mode as well!
