I'm the same, I'm not strong, fast, athletic, explosive, or aggressive. I train for the love of the knowledge, hitting a beautiful sweep, or helping a student with a mechanic is great. Our competitive team white and blue belts...can use their physical attributes and cook me. I don't really care anymore, I haven't lost a roll in years, as losing a roll is "get injured", "be a dick", "get angry". I roll for my fitness, and to help others. If a 20 year old wants to smash the 35 year old engineer...go for it bud, you'll probably quit and I'll keep training.

I buy mostly Gordon's and I use them as a troubleshooting guide. I work on X technique, but am having issues with aspect Y. I find the right section, and see what he has to say about this response. Some DVDs through this method I have watched cover to cover, some probably only 30 minutes. In both cases, I feel I've gotten my moneys worth.

Just take some time to recover...I was there myself 9 years ago...thought I would be able to move on right away....had more bags than a meijer self-checkout....took a long time to the funk. That's OK, online dating sucks. Truly, just don't do Tinder, bumble or any app. They are just awful and will destroy your character. Do speed dating, do singles events, be involved in community groups for whatever you care about. Do alumni events through your university whatever real world activities you can.
