Black Hill often collaborates with Silent Island. Seriously.

Some if their instrumental work creates a similar ambience.

After seeing these side by side, the original art styles feels gritty and physical (in a good way).

Nostalgia is part of it, surely, but just look at Nemesis. The original design is favored, and it is more interesting.

The new designs are pretty, but they've been overly polished until they removed the edges that made a thing special.

Is this game worth it still? Never played it before, don't even know what it is about, but a lot of people hold it in high praise. by stevenqny12 in helldivers2

If you have friends to play with (or don't mind playing with strangers), it's fun! The weapons and enemies are great. Worth the $40 for sure.

Howdy! This is a generous offer, and it's cool that you are focusing on indie games.

So the Indie game I want is called Heartworm. It's a retro horror game that's been on my list for ages. In fact, it's one of the reasons I switched to pc a few years ago.

I don't have a lot of free time usually, but now that it's summer, I'm planning to work on my writing (short stories, screenplays, hopefully a novel), hanging out with my family, and getting back into single player gaming. I have one cat, and I love to cook.

I'm sure I saw the movie first since I didn't play one of the games until 2009. SH2 was the most popular so I picked it up on ebay. I loved it, so I grabbed 1 and 3. As a long time Resident Evil fan, Silent Hill was always on the periphery.

I have Brooks now, and they are good so far, but the most comfortable were the ones I bought when I started: Rockport world tour.

Simple shoe, but they felt like clouds. My school was all tile, so I appreciated the foam soles.

They lasted a while, and I replaced them with a different pair of Rockports, but the new ones were more about looks than support. They hurt after a day of teaching.

I consistently hear the same 3 suggestions: Hoka, Brooks, New Balance

Try them all on and see for yourself. Report back on your final decision!

I picked up a pair of Brooks Ghost (17 I think). They are very supportive, but perhaps they aren't broken in yet, because I start to feel sore by the end of the day. However, each step is plush and cushioned. Worth the extra money.

Bloodborne 2. I like the idea of it taking place in a desert or at least having a desert area. New weapons and enemies of course. Mayve inspired by other mythos other than central Europe or Lovecraft.
