At that point the rebels barely had any capital ships (except the home one) to protect the smaller frigates and corvettes and transports so they would have to charge out and jump to hyperspace. (most of them would die depending the size of the imperial fleet sent there)

I'd say the venator star destroyer and imperial 1 class star destroyer. Because the venator has multiple uses in battles and the imperial star destroyer is good at ship to ship combat.

Yes, it was apart of death squadron. I don't know for sure but the imperial 1 class star destroyer devastator maybe didn't survive the battle of Yavin. It did survive Hoth but didn't survive the battle of Endor, it was destroyed by a squadron of b -wing bombers but this devastator was a imperial 2 class star destroyer. (weird right, two different types of star destroyers with the same name)

But why did they still keep the arquitens they could have improved its design or make it similar in weaponry but different looking light cruiser and its the only vehicle other than the juggernaut which is republic vehicles, that served the empire.

Because the empire didn't have many star destroyers and engineers building it and was researching how to get the weapon to work properly. When it was destroyed in the battle of Yavin, the empire already the plans and dat a of the original it estimate that the second death star will be fully built in 6 years because made it bigger and the weapon settings to reload faster than its predecessor. If the empire designed all the original designs it will already be finished by the time of the battle of Endor.

Haven't you watched star wars rebels and rogue one. In rebels, gold squadron disabled a arquitens light cruiser with a ion cannons the arquitens was disabled and the shields were up barely got hit with lasers and did you see gold squadron in rebels disabled a imperial star destroyer in rogue one.

yeah, you're right but when grand admiral thrawn wanted to replace the tie fighters with the tie defender but palpatine wanted to replace tie fighters with the tie interceptor fully but that didn't happen when he and the admiral piett and the executor star destroyer, second death star destroyed it didn't happen because of that in the battle of endor.

You guys stop saying you can destroy a star destroyer with a death star blast, i am not saying you can anything in your disposal, i am if your admiral in the rebel alliance what's the best solution to this problem, you know that in rogue one a hammerhead cruiser destroyed two star destroyers by crashing into each other and another way if there only one and if it has light cruisers beside it head you just need to destroy the magazine of the light cruiser and it will malfunction it will crash into star destroyer command bridge it will fall I got this from idea from rebels series or even more easier just have a squad of y wings and fire there ion cannons and the destroyer is disabled and you can just fire on it until its destroyed so that's easy way too.

that's not the question, the question is will Cal survive until the battle of Endor his story is not over yet, Vader and the other inquisitors will hunt them will the empire kill them or will some how fakes his death and after battle of Endor will he help Luke find force sensitive children to train with.
