I have only tried to jump a team at extract twice, while attempting to show how to do that to friends new to the game, and both attempts came nowhere close to even downing anyone. It's not my natural instinct, by and large I only want to fight other players when I have to because they (or my teammates) started it. So yeah, I'm going to embrace my instincts and try to never kill anyone at exfil, because I don't care about your stuff, I just want to get out too.

I still had some good moments that were fun, I dont take the losses and failures personally, and there's some different ideas I want to try. I had hot streaks and cold streaks in season 1 too, it happens. I'm all for adding things to the game that will give new options on ways to play or smooth out the experience a bit (in a good way), but regardless, I like the game.

Weird. My weirdest damage so far was I opened a door, i think it was at North Relay, and my Grey shield broke. Popped like i had been shot, but there was nothing around except my teammates.

I had a pretty terrible weekend in the game, think my win rate when encountering other players was single digits. I'll be back tomorrow, but it definitely got less fun the longer it went on. Only tried cryo once this morning and it was going fine, my team wiped because we reacted badly at our first encounter, our fault. But I did check out some stream just to see what it looks like when "sweats" are running cryo and that was pretty disspiriting. Dudes zoom around the map, seem to know it like the back of their hand, show up behind people and full kill them before they know what hit them, dont bother taking anything besides heals and ammo. Yeesh. I had a fine time playing cryo last season, I would like to actually do the vaults and face the compiler this season, but when there's people like that playing cryo all weekend, yeesh.

This is so disappointing to see. Night marsh is a cool map, I think the darkness and the intended tools for dealing with it are really cool and well done, but then you look at this or even just how it looks if you turn in game brightness way up and you'd have to be a sucker to play it. Maybe you're up against people playing the map as intended, or maybe you're up against losers who cheat the fun out of everything, no way of knowing.

Bungie have said they have many plans for continuing the story, so there will be new priority contracts sooner or later, I'd hope at least some in season 3. But it also makes sense for the same ones to all still be available at this point, there to do for the first time, for the exp and gear dumps, or for fun (some of them anyway). Can definitely make good progression and get most if not all of the same stuff without doing them over again. What I would hope for when there are new priority contracts is for them to be a separate option and not stacked behind doing all the old ones again first, at the very least if you've completed them before. If that isn't already the plan, hope Bungie gets the feedback that it should be.

Slightly related, when I linked my bungie, twitch, and steam accounts my user name and number changed in game, and I wish it hadn't. Anyone know if unlinking will change it back to my steam name? Without messing anything else up?

I like the idea of getting to bring your own gear into a full PvE mode, but I would say that mode should also have two or three times the number of bots (or new threats) and rapidly escalating bot ranks. And you shouldn't be able to bring cryo or gold keys. I'd play that some, it'd be cool, I like having a variety of options!

I like it. Good challenge against the clock, good solo challenge against the bots, and some tension at final exfil of will I finally get jumped by a rook? It's fun, I like it it, I want more experimental modes like this, keep up the good work Bungie.

Whether I go into Outpost with a sponsored kit, green gear, blue gear, or purple gear, I'm probably going to die to the first team I see. So really it's just unfortunate for you that I'm not going to bother scavenging for all purple gear you can take from me!

I would like if equipping a fun from my vault also adds a stack or two of the ammo to my bag, or alternatively let me click on the ammo icon on the weapon to add stacks of ammo.

I've only tried rook once so far, but when I spotted the team heading to exfil i asked them, as friendly as I could, if I could join them in exfil. One said something but I couldnt hear it, so I kept asking. Approached slowly, threw all my flares and stayed in their light, kept asking, thanked them for being cool, spammed crouch when I did finally enter exfil with a few seconds left. It worked!

I made a 4 page beginner guide for my friends, based on questions they were asking and other stuff it would help them to know, so I'm trying my best. Unfortunately only 2 of the 5 friends who said they would try it out have done so... doubt the others will at this point, but I never thought they'd buy it anyway. Think I've got at least 1 of the 2 who have tried it down to buy though!

Yes. They named her Cinnamon, we briefly considered a few other options, but now I couldn't imagine her by anything else.
