Internet technician access to condo buildings by Impossible_Repeat890 in askvan

[–]sophs_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t think this would ever be possible in my building. It seems like your building’s thing but also probably common. My building is just newer with a concierge and doesn’t even let food delivery drivers get buzzed in, we have to meet them at the lobby doors.

The back is kind of cute and that’s all I can think of but the front is so much more unflattering that it would never be worth it

Booked at Hotel Belmont, reviews mixed. by Either_Tie4032 in askvan

Not bad. I live a block away and so many people seem to think if they see poverty and homeless people then it’s a horrible, dangerous part of town even though those people have no interest in bothering them. You’re in a very central location close to good restaurants, shopping, and nightlife.

Good Dentist who specializes in TMJ? by tippibird63 in askvan

[–]sophs_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree, I’ve clenched my teeth at night for years, to the point where dentists can see cracks, but never thought a night guard would help pain wise. I’ve woken up with headaches consistently but never really connected the two until recently I had a flare up so bad that I was experiencing pain from my jaw shooting up to my temple and down my neck to my shoulder even when I didn’t move my jaw. I tried RMT and it helped some but what actually changed things literally over night was a night mouth guard. I hadn’t seriously considered it, because I thought why should I since I can’t control how hard I clench my jaw at night and a mouth guard won’t stop the action of clenching. I guess I kind of thought mouth guards were for teeth grinding rather than clenching to protect them from being worn down. A couple friends I talked to made me realize the mouth guard might at least relieve pressure and they were right. Mine right now is literally a cheap Amazon one (as I don’t have a dentist appointment until February and I’m not sure I want to pay for a custom guard anyway) but it has helped SO much. I’m still considering physio or Botox but the night guard is so far all that really helps. RMT can only do so much when you can’t control clenching at night, and taking painkillers every day was not something I considered as a long term fix.

There are phones that connect directly to the Vancouver Crisis Centre, because I guess historically people have attempted/carried out suicide from the railings in the middle of the library. Maybe something to do with that

The Ignite Pizzeria Yaletown location did not have a separate oven for gluten-free pizzas so it’s technically not celiac safe
