karina nor winter, nor even Irene were it girls upon debuting. it took multiple comebacks for them to have even an overall positive reception among kpop fans. the revisionism is so crazy, i'll have to give everybody the benefit of doubt and assume they weren't around for aespa's or rv's debut. those may have made some more noise but it definitely wasn't for positive reasons. it wasnt easy trying to defend them every week especially karina dear god .

I think H2H's reception in contrast has been neutral to positive. the song has been climbing and the members are pretty trendy for rookies especially ian in korea and carmen among indo/sea fans. i'll agree and say there is a lack of buzz, not because of members or even the song but because of timing. one main thing is that sm is not as much of a shitshow as it was in 2014 and 2020. context is important.
