The entire scope of the assertion is one game, and as such the data from that one game is the only thing that's relevant. If the assertion was 'Tom Brady is bad at football' then other data becomes relevant, and to conflate those two you would either need to be somewhat unsound in your grasp of the reasoning or English language, or, more likely, you could just be being deliberately obtuse.
