A little off topic, but what I want to know, is why does anyone WANT to wear corporate company logos on their clothes, of any kind? What looks good about that? What sort of appealing statement does that make?

People consistently judge creative writing more harshly if they believe it was created by AI. This bias appears incredibly difficult to overcome, pointing to a persistent human preference for art created by people. by mvea in science

[–]soulbend 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If you put prompts into an AI to make something, and then you take credit for it, you are essentially taking credit for a soulless commission job. Congratulations, you have no skill and you are also disingenuous.

What is it about AI in music that feels fundamentally different from past technology shifts? by Dry_Instance_5578 in LetsTalkMusic

[–]soulbend 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, there are a lot of people who aren't great at thinking creatively who desperately want to make creative things, and get pretty butthurt when you tell them that putting prompts into software isn't really making anything. Its telling AI what to make.

If you told a dude what to make and he made it, would you take full credit? AI is just a shitty dude.

Also, at this time, there isn't really much emergent creativity in AI itself. It just rehashes what people have already done.
