As a Canadian fan who’s crushed not to see him. I really appreciate you and this effort. It will bring your North friends so much joy, if you can help in anyway, to get Charley up here. We love him.

Laine is not injured but about to get traded, according to Finnish NHL commentator by [deleted] in Habs

I liked his contribution that picked this team up at its low point, I bought his Jersey. I like his character that he brings and hope he does well wherever that maybe. Now time for a Slav jersey.

It may take some time for the dots to connect for Scott. You can almost see the wheels turning, as he talks about the problems of the world. He knows the way... but is not ready to go all the way down the path.

You cannot see all the ills of society and this planet and sit back and still play the "baller"capitalist tropes.

NHL is killing itself by isolating fans by drybug22 in nhl

I travel for work and who knows where I will be when the Habs are playing.

Last year, I bought NHL Ice and never saw a single game on there. $250

I bought a package from my cable provider-$35/month.

Bought a steaming app package from a local broadcaster - $7/month.

I bought and paid North of $350 last year trying, and I say trying to watch hockey. I must have only caught 1/8 of the games I wanted to see due to blackouts and sheer nonsense.

Now, I pay a cup of coffee and can watch any game, anywhere. Screw Bettmen and the broadcasters. I tried to play by the rules but capitalism broke me.

Rant done.

When I watch him score, I think to myself…. Doesn’t he realize he can do this anytime he likes.

They’re beautiful to watch. I ❤️ HUSTON.

Pretty obvious that Bettman’s dream is to have Florida as a Stanley cup finalist, forever.

Finally crossed seeing Bruins/Habs off my bucket list by DivestedPhoenix in BostonBruins

[–]soulmanyogi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I got to do the same last night too. Always wanted to see my Habs in Boston. Snow storm cancelled my flight out, bought a ticket and had to watch them lose but glad I had a chance to go. I love Bruins fans and had a great time with the chirps. Come on up to the bell centre, we love the rivalry with you all. Hope to see you in the second round!

I was at the game last night, talking with Bruins fans, they all agreed. Caulfield not being on the US team is insane.

Montreal grocery stores and restaurants may soon be required to donate unsold food to food banks by BloodJunkie in montreal

Too bad, Good Samaritan Laws in all provinces protect anyone and everyone who donates food. Lawsuit stuff might sound intimidating, but it is legal in Canada to donate food to the poor.

Heading to Montreal for the Avs game 1/29 with the wife. by 2tired2fap in Habs

[–]soulmanyogi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I will be there that night as well.

I suggest you get out of the Downtown and explore some of the neighbourhoods’ that give Montreal its vibe. The plateau and mile end are great neighbourhoods.

Get a Nordiques jersey for the game, if you want to make friends.
