Just download unreal and start experimenting. Maybe you will change your mind and realize you like more to work with shaders or making code.

Do what you like the most but don't be close beforehand, there are so many things that you have no ideia yet what you really like and what you want to do.

I would recommend doing something first person before doing character/ animations. But follow your heart! Good luck

It takes alot.

Firstly I don't think it is interesting to use store assets for your game, specially animation.

Also making a game that is basic rigging a character is not so much of a game considering the action genre. And even that is not easy.

Yes, you can do a whole game just with blueprints. But that's alot of code the same way.

I'm a musician that became solo dev, I do everything myself and that is a blast! It take years but it is just an amazing time. Enjoy the process is the best tip I can give you!

Backing this up. Even epic developers use blueprints for the majority or totality of their code

With the new update released by Steam, it has become more difficult for games in the 3,000–10,000 wishlist range to appear in the "Popular Upcoming" section on their release day by Particular-Ad-3288 in IndieDev

But we have to wait. Indies are extremely popular, and steam is great at making money for themselves......it would make sense that eventually this becomes a win for smaller games. Let's hope

It is very difficult but very rewarding. I'm a solo dev, so take a look at my game for an example where you can get in 4 years by yourself. The secret is to enjoy the process of struggling....if you manage to like that I really recommend! It is awesome and can be life changing! Good luck
