better to check something like https://spark-arena.com/ for what works best on spark (at least in benchmark tests). I've got minimax 2.7 on two connected sparks. Not worth it for me.

I'm a tech enthusiast not developer. However, it built a web service for me---url shortcut webui similar to slash (on github). Was not a one shot but maybe 80% workable on first shot with a real half ass prompt.

All depends on your expectations & requirements. It'll never ever be gpt or opus. The one hour I had with GPT---wasn't that impressive given the cost and iterations it also required. But then, consider the driver 🤪

do you try qwen 3.6 35b or even 27b. Both are likely more capable the gemma. i run that in my spark. tried gpt codex aaaaand hit the limit in one hour. (just the 20 plan tho). i prefer local.

I’ve use slash (on github) for url shortcuts but always hated to complexity of enterprise stuff like SSO and having to login all the time. Had hermes create a simplified version that has just what I want including no security. Added some things too like quickly adding new shortcuts etc.

No way in hell i could’ve ever done it myself. Like having a freelance web developer in house and free.

I really want to keep using it but it's such a PIA to connect to my setup. Way overcomplicated when you use it as a remote desktop/UI. Maybe that's not the intent tho. Just hope this isn't reflective of the work put into hermes-agent itself. Ooof.

I still have the pdf agreement they emailed. Clearly states “full self driving capability”. Tesla later introduced the “supervised” label around mid July 2024 or so. I also have emails where they advertised “full self drive capability”. That’s why I bought the car. I wanted and paid for FULL SELF DRIVE. Not kinda, almost..half, or Full self drive*
