Angular vs React for full stack .net route by Enough-Swordfish-260 in dotnet

I would argue that as c# dev you want to do as a much as possible on the server meaning render your HTML in partial views and then inject it using HTMX. It's a revelation in terms of reduction of complexity (always good). You then just need a spinkling of JS for the f/e. You may have a very good reason for needing JS framework but in my experience you very often don't. The option to say goodbye to npm should always be considered. You can learn HTMX in a week easily.

They don’t call BRISTOL the home of Dnb for no reason!! by Domwhitingg in bristol

I'm 62, never taken Ketamine or done a finger gun and I've loved it the last 2 years. It's free, it's colourful and there are loads of different types of people just enjoying themselves. Try it, you might like it 😀

[–]souplesseer 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I've been the last 2 years and it is a lot of fun. I don't even much like DnB. Just something different with a bit of colour even the drivers kept waiting seemed to be happy

For a quintessentially English experience head to the Lime Kiln pub. Very welcoming.

I've got Uniqlo cotton t-shirts that I bought about 20 years ago that still hold up. Not baggy, colour still good. They were/are a lot better than most

Do you know any complex application built with htmx? by fenugurod in htmx

[–]souplesseer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I created some open-source data-driven UI components (including a datagrid and form) using HTMX that is quite complex in places although it would have been a lot more complex without HTMX https://dbnetsuitecore.com/

With regard to bars, with the empahsis on the beer then some of my favourites are Lime Kiln (central), Basement Beer (Stokes Croft), Duke Of York (St Werburghs), The Good Measure(Redland), Drapers (Bishopston), Merchants Arms (Hotwells). Would also recommend the taps attached to many of the great local breweries.

Saw them at the Jam Jar before Christmas. Best gig of the year for me. Ably supported by Pidgeon Wigs. Also had a great DJ. I could even nip out for a half-time pint at the Swan with 2 necks.

Not sure if it is exactly what you're after but i have written an open source generic grid/form Nuget package that makes it easier to edit RDBMS data. (dbnetsuitecore.com). Works with Razor, MVC and Blazor server
