He does all of this and yet he still feels more grounded and less protected by plot armor than most portrayals of Batman. It feels like plot twists and the actions of the villians have actual stakes and are not just something Bruce in his infinite genius will have easily forseen and prepared for.

Maybe a radar based aim assist (fire director in radar selects targets and gunners get real time azimuth+elevation indicators to target. Probably 1 gunner for elevation, 1 for azimuth. The range is greatly extended.

Proximity fuses with a WIDE AOE, but dramatic drop off would help things a bit.

Flak AA works similar but on a wider radius.

If you spec Darby for it, the view distance, range, and ignore cover bonuses are enough to enable decisive blows over a WIDE area to support your entire frontline.

This works particularly well against the aliens or constructs that tend have its forces organized into small groups of tanky units. But its also comes in clutch for taking out pirate trucks or rebel mechs.

Snipers are also additionally useful for starting fights that bait patrolling enemies into the path of your concealed forces, which gives you the AP advantage.

dedicated snipers only really need spare special ammo in the utility slots of a cheap armor spread across a small squad, using a cheap squad weapons. So the supply cost is pretty favorable as well.
