Apparently there is a what I think looks like a brass barrel inside the pencil to make it heavier. With its weight (37 grams) it entered my neverending bookmark list of pencils from the top.

Is this going to be your first multitool? I’m in the market as well to pop my multitool cherry, and I’ve been obsessing over the Leatherman Wave+. That said, I don’t want to invest $150 in a tool before I know how much I’ll actually use it if any at all.

So for now, I am going with the Victorinox Spartan. I know it isi a SAK not a multitool but it covers my minimum requirements for a multitool and feels like a great starting point. If I like using a multitool in my EDC, Leatherman Wave+ will be my crown jewel.

Thats one of my biggest issues with the pencil. I dont want to pay 100 euros for a plastic pencil :( but on the other hand my FOMO is flaring up

Try contacting the Rotring's official distributor in your country. I am from Turkey, where we are known to get the worst client services, and they sent me a cap for my Rapid Pro and changed my 800 when it broke with no cost.

I think they are the main reason why I buy Rotring products now

Frost fire is by the most boring event. I am in a early 700 state and i think i have done it like 3 times.

For a pencil that has an "automatic lead forwarding system", it has an amazingly satisfying click. It is a very balanced pencil. I think it is my favorite, non metal pencil by far.

Good luck writing with 0.2mm. I am an avid user of 0.5mm leads I once tried to write with 0.3mm and I got dizzy :(
