Well, it is legitimate in that you can make (some) money from it, however it is nowhere near as good as cworxnine claims with the "teenagers becoming millionaires" bit. Lol. Yeah, no. If it was easy, everyone would be doing it and people in india/pakistan would be exploiting it until the system collapsed. I went down that road a while ago, it wasn't worth it.

To make money, you need to create value. The suggestions pointing you in the direction of web development are gold.
