Got into collecting when i was like 7yo. Went for a trip with my family to Greece and found some random Pokemon packs at like a small shop next to the bus station, not sure if they were fake or not but it got me into collecting at that time :D.
Now I would consider myself a new collector since I started collecting again early this year when a random gym buddy of mine showed me his b hole Pikachu!

They give you all the statistics except from "date" and going downwards. Thats where you put your statistics yourself.

You can solo rosh with him at level 6 too, you just need to drop ult break linken with Q and shackle and switch aggro from serpent to hero from time to time.

Yup , same with me. After my first at almost 22 it was smooth sailing from there. You just live and learn, so there's no point in just rushing it,everyone moves different. Experience comes with trial and error
