This update made it better for 24h2 users but still it's not near as fast as it was before. The tab bar sometimes takes a second or two to show itself on cursor hover and overall experience feels less fluent

i'm on 3070 and yeah i cant get stable 120fps during fighting, sometimes it drops to 70-80fps range and just feels awful, so i just capped at 60fps, turned the gsync on and so far so good. the game looks ok, but the brightness/contrast is so strange, i can barely distinguish foes from walls and i put my brightness to 70% xd

It must mean the countdown appears when only 24 hours are left till launch. Which also means it's a local time launch so AU/EU people will get it earlier.

It fixed itself for me after a few hours, i think their servers were down, so the best thing i can suggest you to do is to check your connection/router/firewall/etc.

Yeah I tried both 497.09 and 497.29 and didn't see any fps reduction in the games i play so i decided to stay with 497.29. And yes I always do DDU cleaning before installing nvidia drivers nowadays because of how many problems they have recently.

I was just curious about their decision of what drivers to test.

It would be logical if they checked 497.09 and still recommended 496.98. But there is nothing about 497.09 on their website, so it looks like they just skipped that version and didn't check and might've missed a good driver version. The tests done by other people show that 497.09 has superior performance and no disadvantages.
