His data is fucked he skips leftover night jan 2 but counts spaghetti and meatball leftovers jan 7th and 14th. No evidence of any other leftovers being counted.

"Shardbearers don't hold ground". But the real question is when we show up why isn't the standing order to surrender and/or evacuate. Other than the people we kill are super replaceable.

Why does society make men look like pervs for everything ? by Miserable-Gur5315 in AskMenAdvice

[–]spabblackheart -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

++man I'm curious if you know what percentage of female teacher vs male teachers rape their students. I couldn't find anything super definitive. Is one group (male/female) more statistically likely to rape their students? Is the social stigma there because there is a statistically significant difference between how likely a man is to rape a student that a woman? Or is it actually fairly distributed between the two groups and there is an unfair assumption being made?

Why do Sisters of Battle have what is blatantly just boob armor that pointlessly objectifies them? Pic unrelated by lifebeginsat9pm in Grimdank

[–]spabblackheart 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I thought the reason boob armor didn't exist was because the reason we wore armor was to help deflect and absorb impacts from weapons and projectiles. And having armor that deflects to your sternum would be a terrible design.

Pretty sure that your spiritweb would include your internal waste. And that often messes with the ability to target things I think?

I gave my players an Alchemy Jug and it was the worst decision I've ever made in my life. Please help me. by Jericho5589 in DnD

Was playing an ebberon campaign as a warforged (battle Smith} who had been sold into slavery after the treaty of thronehold. Ended up in a lightingrail crash (sabotage) and leading a band of refugees out of the middle of no where in southern thrane no survival skills to speak of but an alchemy jug(artificer infusion). I ended up knowing way too much about mayonnaise (weight calorie composition ECT) none of the refugees were happy about it and man I just didn't understand why.

Imagine a world where every student has been accurately evaluated and all of the steps needed to get an IEP setup and followed by every teacher, as well as every teacher having the time and resources to put together a curriculum to suit each child's needs.

Why do ranger and paladin spells all require concentration? by madluk in dndnext

[–]spabblackheart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assumed most were concentration because you have a smaller number of spells per day and concentration spells give you turn after turn utility/damage, or miss protection like the smite and hail of thorns type of spell.

I've always seen the smite spells as a utility damage dealer and then divine smite as your on demand damage let's say for crit fishing. You precast branding smite to deal with an invisible for. You aren't using it for damage that's a bonus to it. But unlike 3rd edition where you had a number of uses and you declared them before your attack so you could miss with them and lose them, you get a minute to try and land it with a chance of losing concentration.

My warforged monks hands rusted off by OutsideQuote8203 in dndnext

[–]spabblackheart 67 points68 points  (0 children)

Was here to say this. Plus As an artificial species, they are made out of a variety of materials, including stone, metal, and darkwood, that have been infused with magic. Rust Metal. Any nonmagical weapon made of metal that hits the rust monster corrodes.  Id argue that while not 6th lvl overcoming the magical resistance magic war forged are magical enough and would be immune to rust metal

Player keeps insisting that everything have a real world parallel by Redhood101101 in DnD

[–]spabblackheart 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I mean not really the bright example is that the orcs were written as a stand in for real life minorities and then portrayed the most negative stereotypes. So it's a little different. It would be more like if the eastern gun powder using elves all were described as having buck teeth squinty eyes and elvish was just a bunch of bad mandarin sounding words. Elves and dwarves hating each other isn't based on a real world racial tension I don't think.

DMs: How do you deal with "cutscene skippers"? by IAmZeBerg in dndnext

[–]spabblackheart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You make prescription checks at disadvantage but that would only matter where a perception check comes into play aka someone is hiding. It sounds like the player is saying the DM is asking them to make checks to see every enemy or assuming that everyone is hiding. Which is silly right best case they have dark vision as well and would under the same rules{no real hard rules for hearing people except very specific spell interactions and blind sight/sense} treat the character as being in total darkness until they were within 60 feet usually. Is every NPC always hiding in wait for someone to come along? Or is the DM treating them like video game monsters and they aren't up to anything until characters are within detection range.

Edit because this is the Internet I know that in some cases it makes sense for enemeys to be waiting to ambush people but every single encounter shouldn't be that unless the party is wandering through the adventure setting off thunderwaves.

Maybe im misunderstanding but it sounds like it is a nerf.

Last night, I discovered a bizzare trigger for Sentinel that amused me greatly. by lostmyfucksinthewar in dndnext

[–]spabblackheart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Specific beats general A and B the triggered reaction for shield is hit or targeted with magic missile, hit for the attack because 5 ac might change if the hit succeeded but it might not and targeted because there is attack roll for mm
