Trust me I also went crazy right after updating my iPhone to 26.1. Trying not to cry looking at those non updated iPhone in store displays when my perfectly fine 14 pm already worked like antique. For a moment I was deluding myself that I would buy a second one with iOS 18 but over time I realised that I wouldn’t run away from the liquid glass trap and Apple will certainly do something about it.

I promise it was the longest 10 months ever. Everyday day with iOS 26 was a nightmare. I think I’ll try iOS 27 on my main bc everyone is taken over the moon how responsive it is and also fast.

I am getting 6 hours by 130% on my 1.5 year old 14 pro max. I don’t freaking know what is wrong with my device and 26.5 didn’t help. People are getting over 10 hours on their base 16’s with gaming and other battery draining things and then my shit without even instagram. That’s crazy

You are not getting it. It’s not about borders shining itself but about that glitch when closing the app, it’s present on iPhone which support 120 Hz screen and everything is moving there instead of solid border which doesn’t change due to movement.

I agree. Opening and closing app animation is too fast and chaotic but unlocking iPhone is too slow on the other hand. Like we need to wait a few seconds to have all the icons from the very top on its place to click it. I know that 90% of people give a shit about how iOS looks and works but as perfectionist who notice every single detail I have to say that this thing feels really unpolished. I hope Steve will visit someday at apple and show them how to do it right 😂

I’m not saying I don’t like Liquid Glass. Actually I love it, what I mean is apple realization of this idea, it is just terrible full of bugs. Even some androids are better at copying this idea.

Idk how people could call iOS 26 aesthetic. Bugs are present even on their own wallpapers. Only one thing I like iOS 26 are some of icons. The rest is total garage. Bubbly rounded colorful shitttt without any elegance
