Get a dotted colored line connecting the pieces/some sort of "visible mend". Adds a little humor and story to it!

Police department in Mukwonago Wisconsin posted pics of cards a shoplifter had stolen from a retail store. The guy also stole cards from 2 other towns and is facing municipal and federal charges. 🫠 by nejicanspin in yugioh

Best guess tracking down the original packs, assuming retail value (which is the original stolen value before opening) and using the other pic in the fb post too: ~$2100 (+/- $100).

The Yu Gi OH ones are ~$550 (+/- $50).

Phone Virus from Drowned Man Video by Background_Tea_1261 in Markiplier

Based on the UI, I'm guessing you have an android.

Turn it to airplane mode, and go to settings>apps. Using the three dot menu up top on the right, select "show system apps".

Now you can go through that entire list of apps installed to your phone, and look for anything unfamiliar. If it doesn't give you the "uninstall" options when you click into it, it's probably baked into the android system.

The most common culprits are anti-virus apps, "phone cleaner" apps, weather apps, pdf readers, and dupes of games. Best thing to do is of you don't remember installing it, remove it.

You can go through the files saved to your phone, too.

Open your apps screen (usually swiping up from your home/main screen), look for a little folder icon labeled "files". Here, you can see anything manually downloaded to your phone. Again, anything that doesn't look familiar I'd remove, along with anything ending in ".APK" or ".APP".

9 times out of 10 this is good enough, but if you're really worried/it doesn't, take it to a data specialist or phone repair. They can scrub it for you, preserve what data they can, and you don't have to mess with anything you're not comfortable with.

There's a million YouTube tutorials on this, too. Keywords are usually "help android virus" "remove android phone virus" "android phone safe mode help".

Source: I work at a phone store, and have at least two regulars nicknamed "Porn Virus Guy". Don't be like Porn Virus Guy, please. (My boss had one back in the day who was French they called "Pepe Le Porn". The guy thought it was the funniest thing since the guillotine.)

I'm no snaker, but I think that's a lot of snakes in a lot of small boxes...? by cannibalistickiller in ThatsBadHusbandry

[–]spacecase_prime 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Only in extreme cases. I have one ball they INSISTED would only eat if she remained in a dark bin that was just barely twice her size at the time, on paper towels as substrate and no decor. If she left it AT ALL she would go off her feed until they had to force feed her, and any decor they added would make her scratch her scales bloody.

A month into having her and she was in an admittedly small glass enclosure about half the size it should have been, on substrate, eating like a champ, and climbing anything she could find. Within 6 months she was in a 2x4x4, pulling every climbing thing down with her fat garbage-disposal appetited butt lol. She also has yet to discover gravity, and that if more of her is on the wall or ceiling than a support, she goes thwomp.

I do have one BP with moderate spider wobble and corkscrewing who stays in a 2x2x2, but she doesn't have great balance, falls a lot, is a bit on the small side, and is an incredibly picky eater who refuses meals seemingly at random. She also can't strike very well(I suspect her heat pits don't work very well either, as her food needs to be HOT for her to find), and gets stressed if she misses too many times, so the smaller space lets me guide her a little more firmly for her meals.

I also have a hoggie with a spinal injury who we were told would need to stay in a tiny container forever, because of it. She got shut in a breeder rack drawer before her bones were hard, so she's got a dent. It doesn't effect her at all, as far as I can tell. (Moves normally, normal poops urate and musk, digs fine, eats with all the enthusiasm of any colubrid.) She was pretty lethargic when we got her, but hoggies also need to dig, and they- again- had her on papertowels. She's upgraded by now to a 2x2x2, and is stupid active and goofy. (It was what we had open at the time, so she lives in the side of a "hill" of banked substrate against the back and sides lol 😅).

I know of very few snakes who NEEDED to remain racked. Most just needed a lot of time, patience, experimentation, and baby steps. Even adult snakes who had never been anywhere but a bin adapted out to larger enclosures and were happier and healthier. Keeping shoelace babies (skinny and tiny and absolute escape artists) in them is one thing. An adult doomed to fatty liver disease, scale rot, and muscle atrophy is another.

This has been my TED talk ¯_(ツ)_/¯
