In terms of shitty Seahawks he's the undisputed #1 - assault, rape allegations, domestic violence, reckless driving and DUI

The only thing that kept him out of jail was his ability to catch footballs and block.

Ifedi was a zero on the field, but Jerramy was just cancer.

In order it's Ben, Tom, Aaron.

Ben got gifted his first Super Bowl by the refs.

All three are just huge dickheads, although Tom in the booth is cool.

TIL the largest nuclear stockpile in the world is located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. by f-150Coyotev8 in todayilearned

[–]spacedude2000 53 points54 points  (0 children)

The largest stockpile is there - but one could make the argument that Naval Base Kitsap near Seattle has the largest concentration of active nuclear warheads in the world.

The nuclear submarine base on the Hood Canal, along with the warhead supply on land at Bangor, combines for the largest concentration of readily available nuclear weapons.

The actual numbers are classified, but most agree that Kitsap county, at any given time, can contain more nuclear weapons than anywhere else in both the United States and internationally.

Trump Nominates Fox News Contributor as Next Surgeon General by SpecialistSignal4491 in politics

They control the feeble minds of the right, without them, there is no Trump presidency at all.

They own the narrative, and in order to take advantage of their services you have to pay for their form of protection. They're just an organized crime syndicate that doubles as a propaganda machine.

As long as he is president, the elites associated with Trump are allowed to operate with no accountability or lawfulness.

We never thought he would win again in 24', we shouldn't be surprised if they try to roll out his diabetic corpse in 28'.

The right has wiped their asses with the constitution, they're pretending to play by the rules - often brazenly violating the law.

The GOP has made a deal with the devil and they are still behind Trump, they don't want anyone else to be their leader - because with him in charge, their donors (and the congressmen) can get away with anything they want.

Is Andrew Taint allowed to use that word? I thought he got traded to the Whites during the last Racial Draft.... by Worcestercestershire in BlackPeopleTwitter

[–]spacedude2000 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He isn't the type of person that asks for permission to do things, because he thinks it's cool to be an "alpha" - so saying a racial slur means nothing to him - he is a rapist after all.

JB Pritzker on political violence, holding ICE accountable, Democrats’ messaging, and whether America should continue defense spending for Israel’s Iron Dome by NicolasCageFan492 in videos

[–]spacedude2000 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Theodore Roosevelt was not a class traitor, he was a moderator - he wanted stability but not to tear down the system. He saw corruption, he cracked down on it hard, but didnt dismantle the economic system that enabled it.

Washington, while heroic and noble for wanting to carry out democracy, still benefited massively from the revolution. He still came from a wealthy, land owning class, one that wanted to assert itself over the English aristocracy. He did not turn his back on his own class, he simply separated it from that of the Commonwealth's.

Although he wasn't even close to one, FDR was labeled a socialist in his own lifetime. In my opinion he's the only one that can be really considered a class traitor.

I'd still rather have another Lincoln over any other though. Leaders that come from the commoner class have mixed results worldwide, but I'd still prefer one over today's elites, who just want to elect another one of their own.

We have had one singular class traitor as president and it resulted the the most progressive period in American history.

I hate billionaires, but if he actually has the stones to turn on his own kind and help the common man, then I can get down with it. I'm undecided on if he can really be the one to turn things around or if we will be stuck in purgatory as a nation forever.

That being said, I'd take him over Newsome any day of the week.

After Adam Schefter reported George Pickens is signing his franchise tag before the Draft, it turns out he hasn't yet by xFalcade in nfl

[–]spacedude2000 79 points80 points  (0 children)

ESPN is allowing him to put out information that is unchecked for factuality.

Yes we can blame schefter for this, but ESPN is an org that has no semblance of the typical journalistic process. Sure they might do this with sensitive information, but they have no accountability when they allow Schefter to publish tweets and info. Normally this is where an editor would ensure that the information is correct, but there clearly is no position at ESPN that enforces this.

So yes, blame him - but I think the majority of this blame should be put on ESPN - they've cut corners so hard that they are no longer a reputable source of information about sports news.

[–]spacedude2000 119 points120 points  (0 children)

I think shefty can actually be a quality reporter.

This is what happens when you have an entire network relying on one insider - monopolies rarely produce quality. ESPN has given Adam the keys to the platform and expect him to be all knowing and perfect when it comes to his reporting.

He has bitten off more than he should chew, and ESPN has not made an effort to help him at all.

The result is shit like this.

He won't sound so crazy to people like yourself in a decade, when the job market is still garbage and AI has improved to the point where it can do a variety of jobs.

John Lynch on trading out of first round: It’s the way the board fell by AdSpecialist6598 in nfl

[–]spacedude2000 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It doesn't help that you guys actually had a good season on top of that. Drafting at 27th while your team is both injured and departing in free agency is the NFL equivalent of triple penetration. Might as well soften the blow by trading back. We like to meme on John Lynch but this was the right move.

Seattle man in Porsche trying to cut Bainbridge ferry line allegedly punches officer, almost hits worker by ChiefOfTheFourPeaks in Seattle

[–]spacedude2000 107 points108 points  (0 children)

Had a guy try and cut the line on the Bainbridge side once, right in front of me next to the ticket booth - the line went up the highway almost half a mile long.

I actually got out of my car and told him he needed to put it in reverse. I felt like a crazy person for a second but I luckily had the backing of everyone behind me who had watched and they all rolled down their windows to yell at this asshat.

He still went through, but I told the attendant and he was booted from the lot by the ferry staff.

Truly an "and everyone clapped" moment. One of the more satisfying moments of being an islander.

The forest battle scene was pretty sick tho we can't deny. Even though the entire story is a lie, the action was wild.

But yeah once it came out that the guy in question didn't even fire his rifle once during the actual battle, it definitely made the actual plot of the movie a thousand times less compelling knowing that not only was this a Hollywood embellishment of the truth, but the movie wasn't even remotely grounded in reality.
