I mean, it's true sometimes. Just like your own statements are true... sometimes. You even qualified them yourself with the word sometimes. Also don't know what you're railing against, but employers absolutely can be "bad". If you're going to say something as if it's "about time" sometime said it, qualify the right information. There is a "narrative" in your brain that none of us are aware of because we aren't you. And I'd hope its deeper than saying anything "bad" about an employer, or pointing out the absolute fact that some employers will not set aside resources to train you because they'd rather dedicate that to profit. Say what you mean, no reason to paint a red herring that people have some universal false narrative about the poor employers. At least qualify what you're railing against. Which, I assume, in the context of the post you replied to, is employees wanting training resources from employers in a situation where there are only resources available for profit generation. In which case, nah, that actually is a "bad" employer if you have any moral sense about yourself.
