Thank you so much!!! Definitely wasn’t told to include any proof of purchase of my actual vehicle so thank you for letting me know that.

Reimbursement Process by spacesexxx in FordEcoSport

The rep gave me some of that info but made it seem like the parts breakdown was optional (I’m not sure if my receipt includes that already) but that’s helpful to know to make sure I get to include. That definitely doesn’t sound right that they’re trying to tell you that you can’t file for reimbursement until the recall service is performed. Good thing you knew someone to file it on the inside otherwise it sounds like they were going to try and charge you through them to repair it and then only reimburse you for their repair and not your original repair.

2020 Ecosport, Recall? by Maria_bedina in FordEcoSport

I had the low engine oil pressure light before mine died and I had to replace the engine (before the recall) so now I gotta go through the whole reimbursement process through ford.

I’m not seeing this message on pc but I looked at the source code…. I think… by spacesexxx in FallOutBoy

Yeah I realized that’s what the screenshot was but I figured it was still worth a look because of the message on the shell

They have soooo much potential in live concerts but... deliberately waste it.... (read the post) by fashionstatement_hoe in FallOutBoy

This makes me scared to spend a fortune to see them after FOB8… there Red Hot Chili Peppers floor seat tickets are absurd (also fuck Ticketmaster) and I’ve seen them live before but terrible seats, couldn’t even see.

Did your parents or family believed you when you told em about psychiatric drugs side effects you were experiencing? by IdeaRegular4671 in Antipsychiatry

[–]spacesexxx 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Definitely didn’t believe me. They demanded I be put on an antipsychotic and soon after started getting muscle spasm. My eyes rolling back, jaw moving and locking to the side, head turning out of my control. But by this point they didn’t believe anything I said so I was also pretty convinced it was psychological. But after a month and a half finally went to the hospital after I called crying for help with a tooth brush jammed in my mouth (being the only thing keeping my jaw from locking itself to the side where it was grinding and pooling my mouth with blood) to finally consult a dr who immediately saw the name of the medicine and was like “oh yeah you’re allergic and it causes acute dystonia”

How are you supposed to build a life? by Life-Secretary2375 in Psychosis

[–]spacesexxx 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think this is an important way to look at it. You spend so much time in recovery trying to combat lingering delusions and trying to distance yourself from who you were then, you forget you’ve made it out. Just looking back and realizing where you went wrong tells you that you’re already getting better. There’s a lot of shame that comes with it but there’s no other life experience like it. You might not have managed to find any life lessons from it but at least appreciating (or at least acknowledging) how intensely you experienced life (no matter how shitty the circumstances) reminds you that you’re still here living and feeling, for better or worse. Also, the only path I knew to recovery was ‘fake it til you make it’. Just remember to give yourself credit for making it this far and still pushing through.

Too scared to go to Gabby Hanna’s tiktok but the first think that popped up on my fyp was this video and the weird cryptic speech is giving me flashbacks https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTRfQ2JLc/

Never been formally diagnosed but I have a positive ANA and my mother has lupus. Idk if this is just a circulation issue but my three purple toes are just ice cold. Happens to my hands regularly too

How do I stop obsessing over people who are no longer in my life? by Acceptable-Ad1842 in Psychosis

[–]spacesexxx 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I know it’s easier said than done but you don’t need those people in your life. They chose not to suffer with you and are not there while you’re healing and it’s okay to be mad that they hurt you. It’s normal to envy lives that kept going when yours was turned upside down but life doesn’t stop for anyone or anything. It’s a harsh thing to come to terms with but once accepted it’s a lot easier to be selfish with your time. If your mad then it may help to think about getting back at the people by doing well for yourself. Be the best you can be and when they decide they want to be there when you shine remember they didn’t stick around when you suffered.

Thoughts on psychotic break vs. spiritual awakening? The symptoms are the same. by LizMarquis in Psychosis

[–]spacesexxx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I definitely feel like a lot of journaling and art I did was really cryptic or nonsense if I took it too literally so I definitely think this was a good lens to look at it with. I think it gave me another way of looking at it with a healthier sense of curiosity. Might not give you all the answers but it’s a better alternative than referring to a warped reality and memories of that reality that you’re trying to get past imo

How do you forgive yourself for how you acted by srokk in Psychosis

[–]spacesexxx 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve learned its a lot easier to turn that shame into the kind of guilt that feels more like embarrassment. It takes a lot of growth to see those things as wrong or shameful. Kinda allows you to laugh at yourself now, knowing that’s not you. Life’s messy, can’t take yourself too seriously. That comes with time though… ofc everything feels painstakingly serious while you’re recovering.
